He’s really good at handling Even Shaman. If you dont wanna craft him you could put in a Spreading Plague, or Volcanic Drake if you want more 0 mana threats.

I been a reno priest enjoyer since raza came out, Europe low legends are literally only rogue and mage. I keep board clear incase its pirate rogue and toss away disruption, than it turns out to be pillager, same thing for mage. Its either quest or secret (mostly secret) so its hard to mulligan. The -5 hp nerf on prince was so unneeded. And it makes the game very hard for control players like i am,

I feel that mage/rogue situation, I'm on constant top 1000 legend and higher and yet I keep seeing rogues and mages very very often, most of my games in fact are often those 2 classes and because of that any slower strategy just became so unplayable and unfun to play because you'd do your best and it wouldn't even matter so I just started playing cooper out of desperation

yo martian, i don't usually comment on videos but i gotta say,this works got to diamond 7 easy with mill druid,but than it was sooo many aggro decks,and this is beating most of them. I did lose to aggro shadow priest once but that might have been just bad draw. I replaced Onyxia with Underking, any thoughts on that?

People in Wild, have you felt any difference between 40 and 35? I am currently playing Standard although I am a Wild main. Of course, both sides go for the answer (aggressors and control). Are the bones brittle now? 🤭

I had written a larger version of this but decided against it so I'll just say this. For me the upside of renathal's health boon no longer balances with the downside of having more cards in your deck. For decks who only cared about having extra cards to begin with the change hasn't affected much. At least from my experience.

Not sure still, in this is felt like I wasnt sacrificing anything for the extra health, Druid has so many good cards, and all my opponents were the decks where 5 extra health it good.

@@MartianBuu just wondering what your thoughts is that removing renathal increases your highroll potential (twig + sphere, mana cheating turns with the 1 cost spell etc) in my mind it feels really worth it, love the content, hate eggnog.

It would not surprise me to learn that Renathal isn’t optimal in anything anymore. That said, I thought he wouldn’t be optimal in anything at 10 bonus health and he was. All I can say is I didn’t feel like I was running bad cards and the deck felt very food while I was playing it.

@@MartianBuu playing him for the health doesn't feel worth it any longer at least with other classes, with druid he's still pretty fine because druid can do druid things but with other classes I always saw it as a 10 health buffer so I can do what I really wanted to do initially. Because druid is able to ramp so fast and consistently I never really struggled to do what I wanted unless I drew extremely poorly and/or the opponent drew ridiculously well. Other classes it really was important for me to have that 10 extra health to face tank untill can get hopefully get to the turns where I can do powerful payoff things. The tradeoff of having to put more cards for more survivability isn't good anymore I wasn't that big a fan of 1:1 health per card to begin with but now it's at a deficit lol Like I said the impact to druid isn't that major but with other classes it's noticable to me at least. Haven't tried it much on DK since release but that's largely because I feel like I already know everything that class is capable of at the moment and none of it piques my interest in the kind of games I want to facilitate. 😅

Hmm...think I have it all saving maybe 1 spammy...mght have to give this a try. Also...am I not supposed to turn 1 sphere in xl druid? It was usually my favourite thing to have early to dig to Guff/the answers I needed? Admittedly Twig is pretty terrible when you t1 Sphere, but twig into sphere is kinda tricky to get value from in xl druid when you draw badly anyways. Should i just be playing t1 twig in some matchups [some agro and big priest come to mind], and not doin it in many others?

Sphere is a lot less useful than people think it is as a card, it is only strong in Druid to combo with Twig. I play it only when desperate or when I think Twig will not matter, def hold for Twig in almost every case (dont keep it in the mulligan unless you have Twig already either, but keep Twig regardless).

I played a bunch with Cthun before this, and a bunch with Kazakusan before that. Opponents were all fast aggro or full combo like QM/Pillager, I won or lost long before I’d get close to casting the late game bombs. Couldn’t get games showcasing them, so I adjusted the deck to showcase its strength instead of its flare.

Well I built this deck with the intent to do well into those decks, and I think it accomplished that. This version not having any big greedy finishers helps too. Keep Twig, Guff, Gloop, Bio if you have something to Bio into, Sphere only if you have Twig, save Sphere for Twig, and use your armor/defensive tools to survive until you can catch up with scale/flipper friends. For Secret Mage always assume they have Objection, Rigged Faire Game and Counterspell unless you know they don’t and play around them if you can. With all of that, sometimes you lose anyway, don’t become your own enemy. Don’t play while you’re tilted, think about what you could have done differently (like if you played a card when you shouldn’t have or kept a greedy mulligan) and accept that sometimes you will do everything right and still lose.

Druid beats everything, it's the class identity, similar to pillager rogue and quest mage, unless the opponent gets to counter all your win condition by early in the game you always win

Pillager Rogue just loses to so much shit, aggro and disruption dont let you play the combo at all Dont put it at the same level as quest mage

Mulverick is incredible into Even Shaman, and you really want those Even Shaman answers. You could play it without I suppose, the one card I really missed was actually Volcanic Drake funnily enough. 0 mana 6/4s are addicting. Denathrius seems super bad to me but he’s probably fine. In general I think the deck doesn’t want greed, Astalor and the free Taunts did more than fine for me to end games. I think Topior would need more of the deck built around it to be good.
