You'll need hundreds of dollars of tools to get this build quality
@oneplus_one14 жыл бұрын
First of all, you’ll need to buy these premium materials from obviously premium brands. On top of that these are also some wiring in it. To choose if you want it straight or not that takes a bunch of time. Also, you’ll need the vesa mount that they have. Now you obviously can get a cheap one but not of the same quality and or not for the kind of design of table. Overall. Idk why im responding to this 3yr old comment.
@csabapapp84814 жыл бұрын
@@oneplus_one1 How important quality is for a desk? Mine is made from simple chipboard and has some aluminum legs. Yet, it holds my stuff since 20 years. 700 for a wooden desk I can easily build it in my garage on a weekend? No, thank you. :)

Simply adding a means to prop up the slanted desk portion and you have a standing desk (although not necessarily a good height for most people, a track/drawer slide on the slanted supports could solve that). What about an actual foot or leg rest? A thin cross member isn't ideal. These are the type of features I'd expect for that price point. Yes, I understand it's beautifully hand crafted oak but it's a very simple design.

This is literally four wooden legs and two planks of wood stuck at and angle. IT IS WAY TO EXPENSIVE. I could make this with a saw and some would for less than an eighth of the cost. And you can't even put anything else on the desk because you don't have enough hands to hold it up. Having everything above you is dangerous considering it could easily all fall down with one bump. Plus laying in a computer chair will defiantly do more damage to your back than sitting or standing. Also the company is trying to manipulate you. It's actually a common marketing tactic. You see the huge, over the top, EXPENSIVE desk that makes you not want to buy it but, then you see the 700 "cheap" option (that isn't cheap at all for a couple of wooden planks) that makes you want to buy their product because it is "cheap". Their goal is not to sell the bigger desk. They probably don't have many made right now. Don't fall for their shit. Make your own desk.

I feel the downfall of this would be those who use laptops as their main computer, since even the home version seems to be aimed at those that use desktops/towers.
