Got a facebook suggested post for a game that looked interesting about a week ago, and opened it in another tab to read the article later. Yesterday I got a different article about a game that looked interesting that I opened in another tab to read later. Checked them half an hour ago, and they were about the same game. Then this gets posted and it's THE SAME GAME. I guess I need to go pick this game up. EDIT: I bought it. I spent 5 hours solving a murder, then after finishing that case, I took a case to find some stolen documents. I was given the information about who and what I was looking for in a hidden briefcase. I scanned the briefcase for fingerprints to see who gave me the job, and it came back with the prints of the dead person whose murder I had just solved. This game is phenomenal.

I would love a David Lynch mode for this game. Information to your case isnt explicitly marked for you, but has attention drawn to it in odd ways. The neon sign of the diner the victim visited flickers occasinally ('Troy's Grill' becomes 'Tr y ') The door of the murderers home is painted bright blue, a trash fire burns outside the building. The murder weapon is exquisitly polished, almost gleaming. The elevator music you hear in the victim's building is playing on the radio at the weapons dealer. Vibe based detective work.

I understand this is impossible, but this game already is the result of technical wizardry. They could probably do the necessary witchcraft and rituals.

That would be realistic, but also waaay to OP. The code mechanics would get boring real fast, could just aswell remove the whole mechanic and have safes without codes. This will probably never get added at it would be highly unhealthy for the game

Or just have the keypads be the ones where they randomise the digit positions so the same code involves pressing different possitions every time. Or make up some excuse about how the code inputs auto clean in some way(similar to how you can set your phone unlock to require you to swipe across the code entry area after entering the code to smear fingerprints).

If you're someone with GPU issues, lower the resolution as low as you can handle. The graphics will barely change because it's voxel, but it will lower GPU usage significantly.
