I think you folks need to remember that Before The Storm is only 3 episodes, so holding off on something, means you might just miss it altogether.

I have a long theory about what happens between the end of Before the Storm and the events before the original Life is Strange.

In the first game when Max is in the dark room, you can ask Mr Jefferson about Rachel and Frank and Mr Jefferson talks about how Rachel never liked Frank and she was into Mr Jefferson (not confirmed). So it begs the question to whether Rachel even loved Frank? (Once again it's unknown).

Even Frank never thought Rachel really loved him... but she was playing the part of being a girlfriend for sex and access to drugs. I don't know if she loved Mr. Jefferson either... I think she was smitten with him (much like Max was) except that she was willing to go after him as she was wild like that (by that point in time)

tbh i think her “relationships” with both frank and jefferson were pretty shallow. if we are to assume it’s true that rachel was posing for frank to get drugs (whether for her own use or to sell to get money to leave arcadia) then it wouldn’t be far-fetched to assume she also wanted to be close with jefferson for a possible “in” to his circles in photography to get a leg up in modeling. sort of similar to what victoria was doing.

@@suuumetal Yeah, so I personally think her relationship with Chloe was possibly genuine as she was most likely playing Frank and Jefferson for something. She didn’t want anything from Chloe so it makes sense why she didn’t tell Chloe anything. The fact that she wanted to run away with Chloe shows a lot too.

To explain... this is when Chloe and Rachel get together as a couple. We know Rachel will eventually drift away from Chloe... but there is enough evidence that the two of them were clearly a couple for some time.

I mean we know what Rachel may have felt like 3 years later.. That doesnt mean we know what Rachel felt at this point. 3 years is plenty of time to get together and grow apart, for teenagers. Also I am so happy i chose to save Chloe when playing this game! It so sad thinking that they both just end up dying!

I find Rachel's character quite curious because you never sure with her motives towards people: is she a manipulative sociopath or just was raised by very protecting father who gave her everything she wanted, so she got used to be in the spotlight and to feel carefree. All other characters [with some exceptions] are more "simple", straightforward in their thinking, but not Rachel. Now it makes sense what Samuel in the first game said about her: "Rachel is a chameleon" - seems like she adapts to her environment and gives people the image they like to see. In that sense Chloe is totally opposite of Rachel: she doesn't hide behind any social mask, she wears her true emotions openly, she says what she truly thinks. Rachel is an enigma, that's why lonely Chloe was gravitated towards her. Their story is sad [for many reasons, not only because of their fates in the original LiS], and there's something strange [duh!] in playing BtS with the knowledge we have from previous game. I also think that if to play BtS first, then original LiS would have hit players much harder and, probably, heavily influence the final choice towards saving Chloe because after going through so much pain with Chloe you kinda want to save her. Anyway, I can't wait for the next video! Tuesdays and Saturdays become quite anticipated days now 😸

Idk if anyone has seen Steven universe but Rachel kinda reminders me of rose quartz…beloved by soooo many but as you get to know her you find out her immaturity and impulsivity and egocentrism. Also, I feel so bad for Chloe💔 she definitely never dealt with the trauma of losing her dad and I agree her relationship with Rachel is kinda toxic

the truth Eric and Sarah Rachel has fire power 🔥, I find it very strange that she has no power. It's weird that Rachel has power because if she had fire power she would be alive before she was kidnapped, missing, and before she died. That's why I find it strange, the scriptwriter made a story about Rachel but the strange thing is that she has or doesn't have power 🤔🤔🧐🧐🤨🤨 So the story of Chloe and Rachel together as friends and then girlfriends is very exciting ❤️❤️❤️ It is good to understand Chloe's past, we have to understand better because each character like Victoria, Nathan and others are good people but she changed everything so it's exciting ❤️❤️❤️🌟🌟🌟
