Get a polished elbow. 5in inlet 6in outlet. You won’t regret it one bit. My brother was hesitant about putting one on his dmax and I’ve had 2 on my 6.0L and he finally got one and said he wished he bought that tip before he bought his 10in tip

My guess would be CP3 seals, or fuel rail presssures, indicating bad orings.

Oh , one more thing , air dog sets their lift pump pressure on output to between 5-7 psi for the same reasons you initially thought about being “ too much “ for CP-3 pump to handle on input side . As long as pump maintains inlet side pressure during heavy throttle in those ranges your pump will have fuel enough to supply desired rail pressure ( as long as CP-3 pump pressure regulator & all else in fuel system is up to par ) for normal usage & drivability. Your injector balance rates really didn’t look that bad to me at least as normal ranges are not to exceed between - 4 & +4 at idle , truck fully warmed up , and all accessories off . You may have one or more having “ bleed back “ issues internally which will show up at test bench testing if the shop has proper test equipment. Good luck here man , as I hate to see my rig , or anyone else’s not running well . 😎👍

idk about a duramax, but i’m a tech on john deere equipment and i have seen bent pushrods, pump seals, and injectors/injector cups. also, in some engines, there are o rings on injectors that i have seen leak, on others i have seen metal from the pump go through the system and cause injector to stick open. either way, it takes time and patience. good luck

Judging from light blue haze out exhaust at that initial startup after charging 2 days ( as you stated) I would say possibly one or more injectors have started to go south , and need removal & be taken to a shop that can do full flow bench testing . While all are out & engine is down for a bit order all New internal fuel lines & get a manual for specs on torque settings for ALL internal fuel lines and a good torque wrench and appropriate sockets/ crows feet to do the job properly. 👍

Most of your emissions compliant truck will turn black almost instantly because they recycle exhaust gas into the engine but deleted/pre-emission trucks most of the time the oil stays fairly clean unless you don’t change your oil when your supposed to.

If that is 15w 40 like most diesels run, it looks thin to me. I don't know much about duramax but I would assume fuel pump seals or injector o rings.

I got a 2002 lb7 duramax that’s getting new fuel injectors right now. Had barely any oil pressure and a ton of fuel in the oil. May be your problem as well, check your oil pressure.

There is no way for fuel to get into the oil from injectors unless it washes the cylinder wall out or has a cracked piston. Which is not the case with no blow by. The injectors are external with no oil ran to them. Only possible thing that could get fuel into the oil is the cp3. Buy a upgraded cp3 and then it will be ready when you want to put bigger injectors and turbo in it and make a whole a lot more power

If you had haze out the exhaust.. and it smelled like diesel then you have an injector sticking and that would also put diesel in the oil as it’s flooding the cylinder and going past the rings. If it was the seal on the cp3 you likely wouldn’t have the haze as it would be going straight into the oil that way.

You definitely have fuel in your oil. That oil should be black Which is normal for any diesel.

It’s normal just drive it. If you had too much fuel pressure you would throw a code and go into limp mode same with low pressure and those would be signs of a bad cp3 also

Best way to tell without guessing if there's fuel in the oil or not is an oil sample test.

Goto you local auto parts store get Uv dye for the fuel then check oil with black light.

Test your oil for fuel dilution, you will know for sure if you have fuel in your oil or not. Cheapest way is a falling ball test kit

injector balance rates don't tell the full story on injectors there's also command rates the command rates are much more important then balance its very rare for the cp3 to blow seals and dump fuel I've never heard of that personally I would have to say its more them likely your injectors my brothers truck dumped fuel into the oil and the truck drove fine with no issue he drove it like that for 2 years before he had them replaced so I would take it to a shop have them do a further check on the truck and see what they will say but I have a strong feeling your going to be getting injectors done on your truck

Balance rates don’t mean anything. Bet it has cheapo injector(s) in it. The CP3 could have blown seal but airdog wouldn’t cause that. Pressure is perfect. It wouldn’t build 26k rail if it was failing.
