All the people who talk about how great it is being "out at sea" on a mega-cruise ship have no idea of the splendor that can be found both without upon the sea and within ones-self while under sail on your own boat, either enjoined or solo. The rhythm and the motion, the sound of the wind, the clink of the rigging and splash of the waves, the confidence to sleep, all make me long for the open sea again. Alas, Alas, I have furled my last sail. So enjoy the salt on your lips and the happy recognition of a sound anchorage just a few hours away.

Hey Lauren, Been watching your videos for a year or two or so. I've lived on sailboats off and on for 32 months since 2012. In St Petersburg, Ft Myers, Marathon, & Palmetto for 28 of them. 2 months each in Portsmouth VA, and Maryland. My 1978 San Juan 23 has been sitting in the driveway in central South Carolina since 12/28/2021. Your having the courage and stamina to sail around alone in a 50 footer is quite inspiring to me. I like your sailing videos the best because I am always alone when out of state working full time while living on a sailboat. Trying to find a way to not work during next trip. Be careful when handling circuit boards. Only handle the edges and not the components. For extra security, you can use esd bracelets, but you can read more about that. A little bad luck and you can easily destroy an IC circuit. Enjoy your travels across the world's oceans and want to avoid worrying about electrical faults that easily occur with water. Keep sailing and wish you best luck.

Good Morning, Lauren, just a suggestion keep the dinghy on horizon position when it it board for at least two reasons to not have wind resistant and for you to have more sight view from your stern. As I am solo sailor I understand we always fade up from something to make it ,,,,,I estimate that the most things you don't like it is to put the dinghy on/ 0ff the board ,,, by the way you play well with your cat😉 enjoy the moment always keep safe

Another amazing sail. Glad you made it to your destination despite the weather. Did the freezer fix work? Is there anywhere where you can get the wind generator overhauled to see why it's chewing bearings as fast as it is doing? I guess it's true what they say. While you're sipping cocktails on the beach, your boat is slowly destroying itself in the bay. Boat jobs are always fun. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful adventures.

Hey Lauren, You are really close to Antigua. If you decide to pop over and visit, let me know. I'll make sure I get out wherever you anchor and come meet you. I actually sailed to St. Martin for the Heineken Regatta in case you didn't read my comment on one of your earlier vlogs. We had our annual Sailing Week a few weeks ago then the Sports Fishing Tournament. Finally I have some down time 🤙 and like you, fixing a few small things on my boat. I had a very good friend on St. Kitts. Mako looked so pissed off in his harness 🤣 Enjoy Guadeloupe. If you get a chance, visit The Saints. I think you'll like it. I picked up a power cat to bring back to Antigua a while back. It's ironic, I'm from Antigua and living in the midwest (in the process of leaving though) and you're from the midwest and down here in the Caribbean 😋 Cheers 🤙
