Interesting to see a bit of a blunder from Garrett at the end in terms of table etiquette but nice that he apologised and realised his mistake. He always seems to make recs feel welcome and has fun with them. However I don’t know if I agree with him asking Nick to elaborate on a previous hand he’d played with the guy while he’s in a hand with him 🤔 anyone feel the same or different?
@Alex-yv4vr4 жыл бұрын
Tom Pearn Yeah, not cool. Nick and Garret are both usually better than this
@tompearn4 жыл бұрын
Alex would have to agree there. Although this is the first time I’ve ever seen him and/or Nick do something like that. I guess it’s a nice gentle reminder that we’re all human at the end of the day and even the guys at the very top sometimes have a slip up now and again.

@leftphilange694 жыл бұрын
Yeah well he only has 1 clean out since there’s 3 spades and he doesn’t have one, plus he has huge reverse implied odds... if winds up with a set there’s still flushes and straights on board and if he manages to boat up and faces significant action it’ll be the smallest boat... just not worth continuing for any bet. As it played out, yeah I know that feeling lol we all do...
@TheGuyCalledX4 жыл бұрын
Nah, even to a bet size that small the fold is pretty automatic. You're only gonna spike the 4 on the turn something like 4% of the time and probably folding if you don't hit, so you're reallying only paying for one card. You'd have to make roughly $8-10k on average when you do hit your 4 for the call to be profitable. Given that you're out of position on a very wet board where you're often dominated by straights/flushes/higher sets, that seems pretty unlikely.

@@kcc1762 it was about a different hand tho, and I guess getting info about it the person, but it's not talking about the hand in play, if it was then the hand becomes dead or I guess depends on the rules where they play. Idk, I can go both ways on that. And the insult yeah out of line, but he apologized. Garrett is RARELY ever unsportsmanlike. And he would always fist bump and tap the table as in good hand to the opponent which is the main thing I'm talking about.
@kcc17624 жыл бұрын
@@rsting4ever328 Agree that he was showing sportsmanship by fist-bumping the guy after losing to him every time. But it's definitely not cool for nick to be telling Garrett about a bluff the guy made on him in another hand while Garrett is deciding whether to call that same guy. I don't think there was anything malicious happening there. They just both made a mistake. It happens.
