Hey Hollie they make Solar battery maintainers ,you just hook them up and set up the mini solar panel and it will maintain your batteries. Have Walter get one or two. Thanks for the video lol.

Yeppers - Work great and have saved me a few batteries. They don't have to be expensive either but do have to be big enough to make up for all the computer devices they put in modern vehicles that constantly drain batteries. Best!

A lot of times after you attempt to start the vehicle you're jumping you have to reconnect the cables to get a better connection

Holly if this a common occurrence for jump starting the superDuty…I would recommend a battery tender or if you don’t have power available I would recommend either very large set of booster cables or large booster pack…. I have had both chevy and ford tow vehicles if they sit for 3 weeks or more they just don’t want to start especially in the colder months…

You might want to consider a solar maintainer, they're inexpensive at harbor freight and parts stores, perfect for those vehicles that sit for periods of time outdoors, lay it on the dash and hook to the battery to prevent a dead battery

I have ADHD and when I get overwhelmed I go and nest in a closet or a corner! I get hit by too much at the same time I shutdown I can't even move!

On the vehicle I used most for jump starting when I lived up North and did contracting and snow removal I had a throttle lock to raise the idle speed since at normal idle speeds an alternator doesn't produce very high amperage. That way I could boost a low battery in a fraction of the time compared to at normal low idle. This was especially needed when jumping a vehicle without a gear reduction starter such as the Fords especially if they were diesels. Best!

You’re not late until you get there. Seems you have angered the electrical pixies. No juice for you. Discharged lead acid batteries seldom recover and be reliable after going below 10V. I go ahead and get the new battery I’m going to buy anyway after the first no start. Saves time, money and frustration. If you use trickle chargers, be sure to check the water level and not boil it all out. Love me some Chicken Tika.

The board member who rode with me didn’t want me to film anything (like at all). And, yes, there were other volunteer vehicles with no passengers at all (apparently they assume some volunteers will cancel out not show up 🤣) but he wanted to be in MM, and in this situation it would have been very petty to prioritize filming. You can’t volunteer to do something and then only do it if you get your way. If you only volunteer to get a specific benefit, it isn’t volunteering 🤷🏻‍♀️
