Ive lived here most of my life, and the most notable changes are all new homes being built, and the shops and restaurants. New roads and highways. Birdland is relatively still the same, as well as downtown. Stockton hill is overpacked with traffic, from nevada and California. The common beggar and methheads still roam about. Careful being anywhere here at night if alone, there have been reports of traffickers and muggings.

Mr Beard… finally a place we’ve been too! Also, just up the road is an original Route 66 motel that all the stars use to stop at on their way to LA. It’s called the “El Trovatore Motel.” They have themed rooms that was confirmed that stars have stayed in. They have updated the rooms but kept the original bathrooms. So we showered in the same shower as Marilyn Monroe. Super cool!!

It's weird how much they've focused on Route 66 nowadays. Back when I lived in Kingman (1990-2000) they didn't have even 1 sign like they do now where it's everywhere. It reminds me of Springfield, OR where I live now with all the Simpsons murals everywhere. But on another note, great song! Definitely remember singing along with it a lot whenever we traveled to Las Vegas or Laughlin or Oatman.

@@CroatCurlyGirl Yea, it's filler, at least when fries are crispy on the outside soft in the middle they are yummy, and can be flavored a 1000 different ways. Personally I love mushrooms but they dont come in much variety at restaurants typically.
