I really do not see the issues people seem to have with the crew videos. Not only is it clearly visible that he really enjoys having friends along for the journey, he literally states it is more enjoyable having them there. Plus the banter and jokes are very funny, and they bring a fun atmosphere to everything. Beard is great solo or with company just enjoy.

I do believe it’s a purer feeling watching just Adam, you get the feeling you’re there with him and experiencing it personally. His crew takes that away. It’s like having a celebrity friend who brings his entourage to your house. You don’t get a genuine feeling… but whatever, the camera man is learning to shut up and I guess we’re getting used to the “crew”. I wonder when Netflix will reveal the new “beard games”.

Half Quebecois half German here.... I always love it when I go back to Germany, the food there is great!! It's not French cuisine refinement... It's closer to what we have here in terms of hardy food, shepherds pie, minced meat pies, the traditional Lac Saint-Jean tourtière, roasted poultry, and so on.... The German fare just mirrors this perfectly and is different enough to take you elsewhere... Now when comes dessert though... They take it home!! German/Austrian pastry is far superior to what we get here!! Everything feels so fluffy and light, goes down easy and doesn't make you feel full... Unless you get a huge platter of it for yourself!! I don't know if there is an official challenge, but getting some Windbeutel(s) in Goslar should be on you to do list!!!

7:25 "how do you stay in shape" I think Beard has broken conventional thinking about nutrition -- when he barely eats anything but salads and yogurt on his days off. Things like consistent daily protein intake (for bodybuilding). What about getting enough fiber? Do hormone levels getting affected by such extremes in calorie consumption? Sleep disruption on low-calorie days? Beard shows that the body is an amazing thing, and calorie math works out just the same even on a longer timeframe beyond days; but I'm interesting in seeing the effects on those other things (hormone levels, sleep, mood levels (irritation, hunger, etc).
