Darius Garland for Keldon Johnson/Devin Vassell, another player and picks, win/win trade imo cuz Garland did show as a lead guard he’s elite and would fit well with Wemby but also can play off ball, for the Cavs this keeps Mitchell as the lead guard but also gives another good wing scorer and if they flip Allen for depth they can have a legit contender

I honestly think trading Darius might be the best for the Cavs. We absolutely need to sign back Mitchell and I believe he wants to stay as well. Give him the max contract but we’ll need to change things so we can contend. Mobley NEEDS to develop at shooting and Darius really can’t improve with Mitchell there. I kid you not I’ve thought about trading away Darius and trying to get Alex Curso as well. I think that’s the best option for Darius to develop back to all star level and for the Cavs as well. Idk how I feel about trading away Allen but we need to space the floor so Vuc could work but that contract and him and Curuso being old is risky, but B.I. for Darius is an awesome trade!

I cant imagine the nets giving that up for mitchell, but I can totally see the lakers pulling the trigger on a deal. Mitchell is exactly what lebron and ad need: a true go to scorer and shot-creator. Lebron is more suited for an all around do a little of everything robin role at his age, AD is best utilized as a high energy defensive minded off-ball cutter, spot up shooter with the occasional post-up as a third offensive option. Mitchell is the perfect go to on-ball creator next to them. But its not happening lol

Do not make reference to the regular season performance like that as it's not indicative of how he'd fair in playoffs. Mitchell is a defensive liability and combining him with Garland is even worse. Since both are ball dominant & lack size, it's better keep one and trade for 2 way players with high ball IQ if you're the Cavaliers.

I think New York makes more sense then anywhere else.. They have the picks and players. He's as good of a defender as Donte. I think NY loses and they consider going for Donavan. Then they get him because they have the picks and know for a fact he'll resign. If for some strange reason it didn't work. It's not as if they couldn't move him.

I’d look at Minnesota’s staff they have done VERY WELL running a 2 big lineup. The Cavs should 100% fire JB and NOT blow up the roster they just need the right coach to put the pieces together.

As a cavs fan both the LA and brooklyn offers really aren't that good. If I'm Koby Altman those are last resort options. Also i wonder if casey's miami idea would work if the cavs sent darius garland except mitchell.
