Jimmy butler would be the change that takes the suns from no wins to the finals. As a Heat fan, I would never swap today's Jimmy for today's KD. Sure, KD would get more regular season wins, but Jimmy shows up in the playoffs more than anyone else in the league right now. He just needs more help cause by the time he gets to the finals he's turned his ankles 3 times, he's been thrown on his back 2 times, and his knees have been ran over by Pritchard or another celtic 2 times, cause that's the only way they can stop him.

I don’t respect KD’s 2 rings with Golden State cause I said this line on numerous times that he literally pulled the “if I can’t beat them, join them” card. KD had a chance to go either the Giannis route and try to stay with OKC a lil while longer and see if he can win them a title OR go to any team that isn’t Golden State or Cleveland and try to show the league that not only your the guy now but to try and take down Curry and the Warriors and or LBJ and the Cavs. But instead he went the most bs route. I’ve heard on numerous occasions that people will point to LBJ’s “the decision” of him leaving Cleveland for Miami but by comparison LBJ has a legit solid excuse. 1) Cleveland’s front office couldn’t give Lebron a number two star. Sure that roster had some solid role players and rotational players but NOBODY on that roster you can’t tell me that they are the #2 option when it’s crunch time. 2) If LeBron would’ve stayed then he could’ve been in the exact situation as Dame. LBJ would be the main star and be surrounded by solid role players and rotation players but not have a #2 superstar. Meanwhile KD left Westbrook, Harden, Ibaka, and a very solid squad. Even tho OKC was leaning towards more on Russ its was there front office’s fault for not learning towards more to KD.

Since the Suns are over-leveraged to win now, what are the odds they move their 2031 picks now that those are in play? I feel like a team might give up a pretty solid young player for a lottery ticket to keep in their back-pocket. I think the new tax rules mean their 2032 picks and on will at the bottom of the draft until they blow it up, so it's the last potentially valuable asset left. It's too dangerous, but that's what we said about those other picks! To play Devil's Advocate, how well can you build around a 2031 pick anyway if you're stuck at the bottom of the draft for 2032 and 2033? Most extreme scenario would be Paul George pulling a Porzingis and threaten to walk for nothing if he doesn't get his destination; at which point the Suns would need to trade everyone that's not Booker/Beal/KD/Eubanks to make the salary work and fill out the team with minimum players. Ishbia can sell himself on anything!
