Man, I have to say. I can't look forward to a man having to realize that. But I would say he probably has an idea anyway lol. It may suit him in his areas though. St Louis is a big town and he probably has a good zone tacked out. He likes the short runs with 1.50 to 2.50 a mile range. Naturally the more the better. I know my last Platinum run I seen a lot of 2.5 to 4.0 mile range in the 4 to 5 dollar money so it might suit him. If you can dash one way and get another dash back is the ideal run and his town you can probably stand a decent chance of that. Still though I'm glad to see the brothers KZbin channel growing. Hes really took off in the last six months or so. That's where he can make the bank!!!

@@kkenneth100​​⁠the tier system isn’t this big saving grace that everyone thinks it is. I dash in Syracuse and Buffalo. Never been to St. Louis but from what I hear it’s not all that different from those 2 other cities. If anything the tier system has made dashing worse. It’s easier for people to get platinum than it was to get top dasher so EVERYONE is platinum. Exclusivity means nothing if your exclusive club includes everyone. And in those bigger markets you still have to schedule even if platinum, you just get “priority” and to schedule a few more days in advance. However like I said, is it really perk if everyone else can do it also?

I’ve been Platinum for 3 weeks and I swear it’s worse now. I have to take clown orders to keep it an I think the algorithm tells DD I love the 15 miles orders upside down. I have been keeping a log book and 3 platinum marked high pay offers in 3 weeks. And it was like $6 for 1.2 miles and stuff like that. It’s crazy

I get EBT orders $4 & $5 orders going 2 zones over as a Platinum Dasher, I'm not trying to be Debbie downer, I'm just preparing you for a possible let down. Have a back up, multi app, etc. Until they get real devs, and start actually caring about not only drivers but customers (for instance I delivered a albacore tuna sandwich 20 some miles away; I took it only to see if I may get some orders in a different zone). The app is garbage, the code is amateur and really I did better facing orders to my driver's back in the early 2000's when I was working with a start up I will not name but it's still in the game sort of. My theory was keeping the drivers busy and working their way back to the office at the end of the night. The antiquated APK and geolocation scripting are dismal and it appears it's been like this for a while. I didn't time looking at old KZbin videos going back 3 to 4 years, and one constant was the app sucked. The difference is the customers were ordering more, restaurants didn't hate them or the app they have for businesses, and there was optimism. The stock has gone down over $100 + and unless something changes I don't see it moving up. Plus when the CEO sells 132k shares (yes this happened in April I believe) something is up. Just have a back up plan. It may work eventually, but it's my "side gig" (like side piece) for now. I was at the time doing 150 orders or more a week, now ... IDGAF. Sorry it's true.

You will not need 70% to get good orders. There’s really no difference between 70% and 50%. Except for the chance at getting catering orders, which are not that prominent like they used to be and also 70% just gets you dash anytime - I’m at 60% and I’m not even trying for 70%

I have 88% and truth be told, I get the same orders as I got at silver and Gold. It's a farce. I know this, I'm not going somewhere unsafe or taking an order from the mall that is already late when you get it and it's rush hour.

@@DMATTHEWS33 It depends where you are i think, how many other dashers in your area. In my town they pretty much shut you down if you drop into silver. You will be waiting at least 30 mins between orders, sometimes over an hour. With 70% AR they give you just enough to make slight profit.

I just call Doordash and tell them these customers need to stop asking us for sauce. Alot of merchants will charge for it some customers do it so they think we can get it for free Instead of them paying.

So I messed up and listened to an old school DD guy that asked me why I was accepting every order a few months ago. I was accepting everything, a hustler is a hustler, more money than sitting waiting IMO. Been trying to get my AR back up but you know it's like when you are trying to lose weight and that last 20 lbs trying to come off. I decline an order and 2-3% drops off, I do 10 on a row same AR. My on time delivery has been and had never changed since my first week at 94% which I know that should be 99% because I am a critical thinker and figure out how to get there back roads. No explanation ever as to why because it's I ask I mysteriously get disconnected. I guess I'm insane because I'm fighting through all of it just to prove you can work a job that's not toxic...but then I ask... Is it a different type of toxic? Hmmm 😮 I'm so behind trying to prove a point. Lesson: don't do like me

Girl I’m the same way but you have nothing to prove DD sucks! They lie and manipulate the algorithms! I can except 20 in a row and the numbers dont change but decline 2 and it’s down 2%😒 Plus it hard to get them on the phone or text to help with anything unless your the customer! I can image they will be around too much longer as people catch on! I could care less about AR or anything else! From now on I’m only picking up good orders and everyone else should do the same then maybe they won’t allow the none tippers for lack of drivers!!!!

@DashingTrader I accidentally accepted one today (on UE), was supposed to be a package. Just turned on connect. I though it said $18 for 3.7 miles The pickup was at someone's apartment. She came out and gave me the "package' which was a warm tray of food. A food order from someone's kitchen! Once I confirmed the pickup. The gps said not 3.7 miles, but 37 miles. I actually completed the drop off. Funny thing was the lady who received the order seemed kinda mad maybe about having to wait so long, and didn't really even say thank you, just not very nice. She probably didn't even know she ordered from 40 miles away in Balch Springs, when she lives in The Colony, TX!

I dash in a small city. Restauranta are real slow around here so i dash by time. But since i deliver to the same people everyday i know whos tipping and who isnt just from the pin drop before i accept. If i get 2 in an hour. Shit happens i guess.

You should be platinum for about a week after it hits your market it happened to me I was gold for about 20 minutes then boom platinum. But still make sure you pick up your ar as much as possible.

You still don't have the new tier system? i recommend grinding all the way up to 80% if you can before it hits. Most people will grind up to 70% so having just 70% will have you on the same level as pretty much everyone else. It sucks to give DD all that free money, but having 80% will get you the best offers in your area, because most people don't want to suffer all the way to 80%. You can ride that for a while, like a week, but then DD will chip you back down to the low 70s, then all those no tips start popping back up, so you have to be extra smart about keeping that AR, don't dash at bad times.

Chuck makes more money on spark any way. For some reason thr last name was in the chat some how. It doesn't matter we all have to do better and be kinder. It is a wake up call to not get into any dispute with any of these restaurants. They are going to spread the word.
