Btw: A-120 has a feature that is different from the other entities: he can chase you if you are within its hit box (it’s why you see him go up to your locker). Because of this, it’s VERY hard to hide in plain sight. Even if you used an overheal item, it doesn’t work on A-120, and he instantly kills you.

THINKNOODLES, for this challenge you obviously have to now beat the mines aswell. Right? Thought so, now let me tell you why you SHOULD grab a candle if you see one. At door 100, you can just put it in the rift and take it back out and then bring the guiding light candle to the mines. And for the default candle: when you have a lighter, and you find a candle ~ you basically have a second lighter. I know it goes out every time you unequip it, but relighting it will probably only make you lose like 1% of your lighter itself. If you have the inventory space for it, theres no reason to not take it. If your flashlight battery ever gets low its obviously an option, or if your lighter itself gets low, just leave a little bit in the tank and light the candle. It literally just doubles your lighters battery. Its only "useless" if you happen to bring ~ i dont know a battery pack through the rift right back to the hotel from the mines. 18:19, exactly why you should've taken the candle.

I have a challenge for you. I don't know what to call it, but here it is. The challenge is that every time there is a Dupe, you have to go to the wrong door. You are allowed to use crucifixes, though.

So I'm going to make some rough calculations here. Assuming that 1000 doors takes 2 hours (If you rush it it is doable in that time) 100 doors takes 20 minutes, and 50 doors takes 5 minutes (The world record is a 4:57 achieved on June 2 by Spondos, HUGE props to him, that time is crazy) So, if there is 3 floors and 3 subfloors + backdoor, then the total time to finish a Doorsverse run is... 7 hours and 5 minutes. Now there is the fact that after completion of Rooms you get sent to the infirmary, which does skip a couple doors but you really can't calculate that because sometimes the infirmary comes late and sometimes it comes early. You have already tried getting floor 20 in Dandy's World, and that took 6 hours, so you will be able to do 1 hour and 5 minutes more, surely... Honestly doing 3350 doors would be kind of fun, so I hope they keep going with the trend of each subfloor (except The Backdoor ofc) having 1000 doors. Correct me on any info if I'm wrong, and good luck to Thinknoodles! :3

Not so off, but yes. The colors of the pillows, are a way of giving away what your items are going to be with Jeff in his shop. 1. Yellow pillow gives you a Crucifix. 2. Red pillow gives you a skeleton key. 3. White pillows gives you random items like: lockpicks, vitamins, flashlight, and so on. Oh, and it can work hiding near the exit door in The Rooms, against A-60, but A-120 it doesn’t work on him, since he’s coded to after his spawn go straight for the Player, then the door. Which honestly doesn’t make sense, and the developers need to rethink it, and maybe make him only go for the door. Like Rush + Ambush + Blitz. And of course A60.

12:43 Last time I played super hard mode, I did actually find an odd looking room with a wooden chair with text above it saying “TAKE A SEAT” and Jeff the Killer was also in that room, it was where the greenhouse was supposed to begin, straight after courtyard, and the texture and lighting of the walls and floor and doors were really wacky, it was like everything was stripy and flashing kinda. It didn’t look at all like a room from Doors. It’s hard to explain, but I did manage to get it on video. I’m not sure if that’s the room you’re looking for or not, I have only ever played Super Hard Mode 3 times ever, so if it really is that rare then I guess I just got super lucky

Soooo, the thing with that hiding spot.... You were in the wrong corner. You have the sit in the next corner opposite from the exit door, and on the side of the room you just came from. There, you will actually be safe from A-60. Not A-120. The thing with A-120 is that it always homes in on the player, even when they're in a locker. Heck, I use really bad time and rush hour in my hotel hell run and only 3 rush spawn in greenhouse

But I think I know the reason why only 3 rush spawn, when I was doing hotel hell I use key key key key (almost to all the room is locked and increase the chance of normal lock rooms and gate room) Battle of Wish (and other) But when I’m doing the run I noticed that rush don’t spawn in room that: Could contain a dope room Room that are normally and only NORMALLY locked and gate room (aka the room with a gate that you have to pull a level to open) In think case there is a gate room at 13:34 there are a lot of dark room around door 16 a locked room in doom 18 14:59 and I don’t know why he didn’t spawn in door 19 or door 20 (those room are not safe)

Sometime I did see rush spawn in earlier like him spawning in door 4 in a unsafe room (I calling them unsafe room because instant kill entities can spawn in those rooms )

Oh yeah, if you didn't know *Blitz rebounces more if you have alot of time. So if you had 15 seconds he wouldn't even rebound. But I'm sure you get it.* I'll comment on your video if I learn something new, hope this helps!

This took me around a month of attempting to pull off, with around 400 hours of attempting this run back in september. The main tip is MUSCLE MEMORY. Find the optimal routes, learn the path finding of every entity, etc etc. I compmeted this run in 4 hours and 46 minutes with around 1.5 hours of afking (I have a life) my actual time was around 3:30

Here's the thing about the candle. If it only works when it's put into a rift, then that makes it a long run item, meaning future floors. When they add more floors, the candle would have more of a use then, after it's corrupted.

Here's some 2 fun facts that are helpful in a normal doors run: 1. if you crouch and looks down at an angle against a wall, your head noclips and if you do that next to a dupe door you can see if it's dupe 2. you can actually partially put eyes on your screen without taking damage, if you do this in a dark room then you can see when screech spawns because eyes will become blurry.

three more btw: 1. look in chests in the infirmary, they spawn with items often 2. before your camera moves back yo you in the door 50 animation, you can move forward, you can also see the light that surrounds your player to let you partially see in the dark. 3. you can jump out of closets/lockers/any hiding spot, pre-floor 2 subfloor update, while figure is doing the searching animation, giving you time to run away. crouch before he stops the animation to avoid being chased.

Thinknoodles, you hid in the wrong spot. In the side room, you have to go up against the corner of broken wall that you enter through, the entities uses raycasting not hitboxes, you hide where the raycast can hit you. It does work with A-60, but I don’t know about A-120 because as you see, A-120 actually goes to your position with its normal node path.

Here's some useful info in the hotel: Rush will spawn two-three dark rooms after each rush, so stock up on light sources before hotel.

two things i want to say: 1: rush's spawn is now like REALLY delayed and now almost always spawns post-20 2: you can also put the candle in a trash can and it will light as well
