GIL (and David) were amazing. I love that they simplified the control by cascading movements. Head turns = after X rotation then rotate another body segment, after Y rotation then a different body segment, etc. Make all those movements relative and they get to combine all the controls and it just becomes so much more eye popping. Also, no idea that the arm moved. Every video and interaction seemed to be static arm position, so the fact they also move is awesome.

That is awesome. As I said in Twitter, I will start small with a mini mouse droid. But I hope to add features on it like an led panel on the side, lights, even a siren (aside from its own sounds) like the one in Mandalorian S3. Then after that, I'll slowly build a bigger one. There are groups you can join. For example here in BC, we have the Droid Builders Club. I'm sure there is one in your area. Good luck and looking forward to your build. Just to warn you though, building something like an R2 costs thousands!
