This episode was so good. When Akane shared that her mom died after giving birth and Takada broke down in tears because people including himself have been calling her Grim Reaper, damn. That hit hard.

I agree, one of the best episodes I've seen, both the wholesome and comedy parts at that start, with grandma teasing dad about his daughter being alone with a boy, Kuro's antics in the car and later on, and the emotional part at the end. Takada crying and Nishimura trying to calm him down. I think the voice acting in the subbed version is better, but the dub version does a good job too, the feels were there as well in that version.

This episode is Amazing and Remarkable. I felt so sorry for Akane in this Anime. Sharing her story to Takada, about her Beloved Mother Passed Away While Giving Birth to her, and Takada Burst into Tears, cause' kids at her age, Takada included, kept calling her the *Grim Reaper.* Damn, that's gonna Sting, Right in the Feels. So sad. 😔😞😢

When I read this part in the manga, I was hoping it would be done justice in the anime. And luckily they did. It was every bit as emotional as the source material.

Am i the only one that finds it so ironic that Madelline Morris who is the english voice actor for Takada who i think we can agree is one of the most wholesome anime characters ever is the same voice actor that does Rudeus Greyrat from Mushoku Tensei who is one of the most perverted anime character ever?? All i can picture hearing Takada speak is Rudeus and just the night and day difference in characters is hilarious to me. 😂😂😂

@@michaelshover If i could make a recommendation shes in not a really well known or popular anime though i loved it called Otherside Picnic. Morris plays a main character..shes a teenage girl in it so different than a young boy but she was great in it!! Just a heads up it is a yuri and a supernatural though so you may not like the show if you not into that but i loved her in it!

@@lanasabourin529 I did watch it and it was a really interesting story. I've been meaning to watch it again, so I will. I love mystery, supernatural, Isekai, and fantasy the most. I enjoy other genres as well. If it's an interesting anime, then I will keep watching it. Slice of Life is nice and relaxing mostly. It's nice to counter the darker shows when I get hooked into something darker. I try to enjoy each show I watch. Even romcoms I enjoy. Some shows get pretty crazy like the second season for The Fruit of Evolution. That's something I have a difficult time to keep watching

At the end of this episode, it is lucky the Akane held on of Takada's hand, or else his spirit might have flown away with the fireflies. Takada was hurting that much. Edit: Akane will be a doctor when she grows up.

@@DESTRAKON Kubo-san has started airing again, after it was halted in winter season due to covid hitting (some of) the staff. Skip and Loafer is good, Yamada to lvl999 seems ok so far. ToniKawa S2 is worth looking at, and Insomniacs after School. Those are the series I am watching rn, but MCFF is my absolute favorite this season. Also because I know what manga chapters are still likely to get adapted in this season.
