I have one more then one year- sufficient in light cross, very comfortable and realxing biker position. I have next one battery for long distances- now I can drive more than 100 km without risk.Point for improvement- torque sensor, better ( bigger) brakes .

This is very supriseing . I have had my L20 for 2 weeks and I ride 35 miles a day which leaves 2 bars on the readout .Mine had the same problem with the front brake ,which on investagation was the incorrect routing of the cable through the spirel wrap .I did my inital first service at 100 miles and decovered no lubrication was applied to the wheel bearings , the bottom bracket or chain from the factory and the fittings were all overtightend despite having libral amounts of thread locking compound on them.I like the bike very much .but people should be awhare that it needs to be stripped and set up properley before use or future relibility could be a problem .

Thanks very valuable info, a problem with reviewing alot of products is the limited time you use them as often problems can arise weeks or months later so these types of comments are helpful to other people thinking of purchasing a product I have reviewed. Are you using it on fully electric like I did or is it 35miles with pedal assist?

I have recently bought the boost version. Torque sensor is for me. I also have some squeaky front brake, i thought it had to do with needing to be ridden in a bit maybe. My biggest peeve with the bike is that the sadle is total garbage. I am 6 foot 2 and 75kg, but the seat is so soft that when sitting it activates all sorts of muscles in the back and butt to keep balance that a harder seat does not require. Softer is not always best for bikes!
@TheDShow3 ай бұрын
Thanks, I actually thought the seat felt abit hard but I thought maybe it was just the lack of rear or seat suspension I was feeling it more. If you feel it's worth it maybe you can get another seat from a bike shop.

@@theanvil6886 yes major difference is the torque sensor . Much more responsive and controlled acceleration

I'm 64 years old. Upper body strength isn't what it should be (long story). With my old mountain bike, the relatively narrow tires threw me off my bike and knocked me out. Yes, I was wearing a helmet. Imagine if I hadn't. My front tire ran over a hand size flat rock and threw me off. If my tires had been fatter, I'm confident that I could have driven right over it.

I have an engine pro fitted it with very large BMX bars. It’s an absolute nightmare to carry up narrow stairs apart from that I like it but it doesn’t get as much use because of it up and stuff., so thinking about a lighter bike, it’s either the L20 , or the p20 any thoughts or views would be greatly appreciated thanks

If you want something lighter then it would the P20 the L20 is heavy.

Also London traffic I’d like something a bit rapid, but if it does get up to 20 miles an hour stop and start traffic and I’m not travelling that long or a further distance it seems like a good shout, obviously it’s not as powerful but power to weight ratio hopefully stop and start traffic. It might as well as been good as the engine pro thanks again for replying

There is an L20 with torque sensing. It's called the L20 Boost and is only available in one colour.

@@TheDShow As someone who is 66 years old with bad legs and having owed several e-bikes a cadence sensor is the answer for me I just want the bike to give me power when the pedals turn not match what I put in as I can’t put in much and end up using the throttle all the time. So when I saw they were bringing out the L20 boost with torque sensor I pulled the trigger and bought the old one before they discontinue it.

I think you've got you're analogue / digital analogy reversed. Or I've gotten so old and digital is now seen as smooth because it's gotten so much better. Digital used to mean on or off, 1 or 0, in noticeable steps, so far from smooth as opposed to what an elegant analogue could achieve.

Hi bud. Im thinking of one of these bikes. Keep researching and found your comment very useful. As a chap who owns one would tou say this bike be able to do about 12 mile round trip this includes hills on full electric an gow good is the assist. I doubt id do more than 15 miles per outing mainly use for commuting. Thanks in advance
@HankOrionYTАй бұрын
@@theanvil6886 definitely can do but not unlocked. Slower you go further it gets you. Use below assist 4 setting, don’t unlock your bike. Throttle only should be able to do 15 miles one way if not a lot of hills.

The fact that it is a hard tail with mechanical brakes 13 A short range as heavy as an engine pro although it doesn’t look like it should be and priced the way it is it’s a terrible deal save up a little bit more getting an engine pro probably not in London Because you’re more than likely get pulled over because the engine pro looks a lot chunkier that’s why I was so surprised the white and also the price of this thing way overpriced they do a battery 16 amp battery nanny 400 quid if you want range you’ll probably have to buy that as wellsave your money

If you don't unlock it yes the max peddle assit speed will be 15mph and the throttle will move the bike forward at a very slow walking pace.
