I'm getting more excited for this matchup than I originally was. Because while I'm happy that Philly is back in it, I was hoping that these two teams would meet again in like 5+ years so it wouldn't feel too soon for a rematch. I still feel that way to some extent, but this could end in such a great way that I don't mind it as much. BG retiring as a SB champ, Saquon breaking more records and getting MVP, Jalen proving the haters wrong, Beckton going from a supposed bust with the Jets to becoming a SB champ, the rookies first year ending with a Lombardi trophy, etc. I just hope these guys do win it all regardless of what the score ends up being (KC plays down to the wire, so I think it'll be close). People keep talking like the Chiefs are unbeatable. Three-fourths of the pundits I've heard are picking the Chiefs, as if the Eagles are just the team that happened to win the right to get beat. Look, the Chiefs are a very good, resilient team with a great QB, great HC/OC in Reid and great DC in Spagnuolo. I give those three the edge, though Fangio is right up there with Spags imo. Kellen Moore and Nick Sirianni have an offensive philosophy and scheme that perfectly suits their players. They don't have to get cute or do anything exotic. The Chiefs have Mahomes and Andy's bag of tricks, but you can't play hero ball or run trick plays on every snap. Sooner or later you have to beat your opponent man on man. And top to bottom, the Eagles have the edge. I keep saying it -- all the Eagles need to do on Sunday is what they've done to teams since the end of September. If they just play their game and avoid mistakes, the Chiefs can't beat them. Eagles 38-27.

Evan… you can’t seriously say hurts is elite. You have to watch the film. He’s not a great passing qb. Even with all the receiving talent around him he still has major deficiencies. There have been many qb’s - even Super Bowl winning qb’s - that have been major beneficiaries of phenomenal rosters and there are qb’s who share a big piece of the pie with regards to bringing success. Jalen hurts is not the latter. Chiefs lose mahomes, it’s no contest. Eagles lose hurts and play McKee, we can still and probably would win. I think eagles fans get way too sensitive about criticizing him yet were the first to say Purdy was only good cuz the system. Hurts can run (this will have diminishing returns over time) and has a nice deep ball. Thats about it
