Dude you are so right. Everyone should be able to have their own opinions regarding political issues but you shouldn't hate someone that has different views. Selling should be apolitical and a personal view shouldn't keep someone from buying from you.

17:32 minutes in... just listen (repeatedly) to Jim Rohn's teachings/words: "The tides go out, the tides come in." for example. I think he sums up so much in his talks. Need an attitude sift - seek it! Darren Hardy often references him on his Darren Dailys. We are INCREDIBLY blessed no matter the circumstances around us.

I loved the Lone Ranger! Clayton Moore's aunt was married to Sabino Lewis Dewey, my parents very good friend. I was in awe of Bino! He knew the Lone Ranger! The back story was of 6 rangers, 1 lived, but there were 6 graves dug to protect the ranger who survived. Tonto was very bright in all ways! I can remember seeing but in color on a black and white TV. My imagination filled in the color, and the following program suddenly looked dull! It was years before I knew what had happened.

Pop culture - nationally syndicated comic strips started it. Silent films and later radio really kicked it off. In the old days I shipped fabric in Tyvek, not polymailers. Boxed if it fit. The USPS likes to mangle polymailers if they can. (Btw Kevin - also on the Spectrum here. Found out in my mid-50s. They didn't diagnose high-function folks until I was an adult and then some, and they still routinely miss girls. Been working around it without knowing what "it" since no one ever knew what to do with me anyway!)

I stay away from the political stuff all together. People act like whoever is in office CONTROLS what they do and do not do. I am 52 years old, I can not remember a time in 52 years where I said or thought " Man I can not do this or that because of who was in office " I control what and what I do not do in life, no matter who the President is, or who the Governor is, or who is the Mayor. We control our own lives, not any one individual, or what they do. Thanks for the great video once again. BTW Politics divide us too much and I am more for unity.

Hi Kevin! Thank you for your comments regarding politics. I'm 10 years older than you (so according to Dave and Cary, I'm 100 LOL), but I'm sure you still remember when politics were your own business! I don't actually post mine on social, but tons of people do, which is fine for them, but it seems like it's not your own private business anymore, and everyone who doesn't agree is wrong! I do agree, we need to make our own future, to the best of our ability, and deal with what we can't control the best we can, regardless of what's going on in DC, etc. There are tons of opportunities with the internet, I was doing multiple side hustles before the internet, now my head just spins at the opportunities haha Liked and shared, thanks Kevin!

It's unfortunate that the few who are first to take credit for their success are generally no where to be found when responsibility must be acknowledged and accepted for failure. Owning your failure and learning from it is the springboard to eventual success. Thomas Edison made the light bulb wrong 1,000 times before he finally nailed it. Thanks for all you do, Kevin. You are appreciated!

people put too much weight in politics vs money. We are a global economy whether people see it or not, and as you said, we are responsible for ourselves. It was, and still is to a point, some industries that drop unless a republican is in the office, such as construction, but that is due to the people with the money deciding to do that so that little people see a "difference". It's not actually due to anything more. I put white and silky shirts in a second bag, shipping is dirty and silky ones move too much in bags.

@marilynmack623311 ай бұрын
Vinyl1earth. Did not mean to mislead you as I am NOT a reseller. I was merely offering the scenario from the standpoint of the stock market and what affects the economy. You could have luxury goods and try to sell them very cheaply but if your customer base is struggling to buy gas, food, insurance etc. you may not be able to unload your luxury items except to very rich people who more than likely will be buying retail.IMHO

I believe Success is not depended on who is in White House, but it does make it easier when the right person is in there because they can create the platform for it. But you still can’t blame politics for what you do or not do. That said, can we talk about the effect all these other platforms are having on eBay. We like to say eBay is not dying but everyone is selling their stuff other places creating a competition for themselves. Sure we should join but if we don’t want eBay to go under, why support the competition? Just a thought I would like to see a video response about this.

You are your own success or failure for sure. I don’t like to discuss politics unless it’s face to face because all nuance is lost in comments. I will say in my area we have a lot of second homes of the ultra wealthy and they do affect everyone in the area. Before they became the norm we had a decent amount of at least ok paying jobs. Now most jobs are geared toward them and wages are depressed. They have taken a lot of land over time and years ago they only had about half the county. My late father was asked by the newspaper why they were not all over the area and he replied they needed a place for their slave quarters. I have interacted with millionaire and billionaire clients at a former job they are like everyone else some good some bad and some crazy
