I like how the 97 year old will get a trike eventually. How old will he have to be before he gets one? Good for him being out there at that age.

I caught that too. I'm afraid his eventualities are running out.

We purchased aa Ohwow conductor 4-2. It’s a rickshaw with a seat in the rear. We went with this model because we needed a trike for my ladies 18 year old autistic son who can’t ride a bike on his own. We have the model with 2 batteries. It easily goes 20mph with myself 225lbs and Ethan 170. Yes it requires some peddling up steep hills but not much. Have owned it less than a year but really love it. We used it on a beach trip to York beach Maine and it was awesome. Could hang the beach chairs and cooler off the back seat and was perfect for not dealing with the parking issues at the beaches. Love the what these bikes do for special needs family’s.

This is something we all notice after buying our first e-bike and keep tracking the price after the purchase 😂

Weeeeelll... at 81 I'm a "Senior, senior citizen" but I'm riding on the E-Cells Kings Crown predecessor the Super Monarch Crown. It has the exact same brakes, Deore 10 speed gearing, torque sensor, 9 assist levels and batteries as the Kings Crown but "only" 4.25" wide BULLDOZER tires. So yeah, 95 pounds of fun! But I'd really like a Kings Crown for its better suspension. Guess I'll change my forks out next year.

And for what it’s worth, I have two of these, but I relocated the seat into the back basket which lowered the center gravity by 18 inches and now I can turn it any speed.

I would like to see you do a review on the MeetOne etrike. That is more expensive, but has a lot of great features.

do you have a video on how to use gears on an e-bike? i did not have gears on any of my childhood bicycles, and now after 25 years of not being on a bike, i now have a basic e-bike with a hub motor, 20" x 3" fat tires and Shimano 7-speed (rear only) gears; and i really don't understand how to use the gears for my best advantage. the Yt videos i found were aimed at racing "acoustic" bicycles; and i intend to use my bike for local errands (i live in slightly hilly suburbia on the US East Coast) thanks in advance

Yeah, they’re fine until it flips over in a turn in that 67-year-old cranium hits a pavement pops up and bleeds out on the concrete. Until they lower the center gravity on the thing these things are always gonna be inherently dangerous. They only go 15 miles an hour, but you can’t take a turn more than five otherwise the thing might flip over on you.

The speed is normal for a rigid (non-leaning) trike. Riding a relatively narrow normal trike is a totally different experience from a bike or leaning trike/quad.
