For safety the front light shoul dbe mounted in the bars and the central rear should be on the underside of the seat.

Great review. Looks like a solid bike. Plenty of storage and range. Running to the store would be a blast on that thing. Locking it up would be my first investment. But a cooler, some snacks, and some tunes. Pretty cool trike. Thanks for the info.

Thank you! It’s definitely a kick back and relax kind of trike haha.

Hello Tom. Man I really like how you explain every part on this Ebike. What can I say. Another Amazing review. Thank you. 😎

Thanks so much! This was a fun one to make. Almost felt like installing an umbrella and a food tray as well as throwing a cooler in the back to kick back and relax haha.

It would be awesome if you could charge the battery a bit while pedaling too.

That would be awesome. 😎

Great video, i was wondering about the turning radius on the trike. Even the 15Mph is pretty good, too. i would definitely use like light to medium pedal assist to get the most range out of it but also not get me too tired, lol

Thanks! Yah it’s a very relaxing ride. Perfect for Sunday morning strolls during the summer through the neighborhood haha. Just need to install an overhead umbrella to block the sun and add a cup holder for some ice cold strawberry lemonade.

Hey Tom off topic but the max g2 got “boost mode” on a new update it received.
@tomsgadgetgarage2 ай бұрын
Hey! I saw that and installed it immediately haha. Been waiting forever for that update. The boost feature is definitely a plus. I wish there was a way to choose when to use it, but I’ll take it haha. I plan to test it again on that mountain road to see if the performance improves. Probably this coming weekend.l :).

Hi I just discovered your channel and subbed. I was wondering if you are on strava or anything for tracking your rides? I live in AZ as well and have just been riding the canals in Mesa. I have rode to Gilbert and Tempe but I liked your Tempe/Scottsdale ride.
@tomsgadgetgarage2 ай бұрын
Hello! Thank you 😊. No Strava for me yet but I’ll sign up soon. Yah the Mesa canals are nice but the Tempe/Scottsdale is much better as there’s more to see. For that ride I usually drive to Tempe Town Lake, park, and head out to the lake and cross the pedestrian bridge. From there I take Mill Ave and hook a right on N Galvin which turns into 64th street. From there I go north until I reach the canal then turn left onto the canal path toward the Biltmore/Arcadia area. I then head back in the opposite direction towards Old Town Scottsdale and it’s around there that I start getting concerned about how much battery I have left haha!

@@tomsgadgetgarage nice! do you know how far that is? I just bought a second battery but I’m still scared lol I have a 3.0 by Lectric

So that day I rode all over the place so it was about 39 miles. You could try either just going to Arcadia area from Tempe Town Lake or Old Town Scottsdale. Once the voltage on the screen gets to 49.0 volts you’re at about the half way point with a bit of a buffer. That’s what I use for my signal to turn around. Don’t rely on the battery bars at the top of the screen. Those things will say 100% when you’re really at 40% 🤣.

Question: Is that a 'geared' or 'direct drive' hub motor sitting in the frame ?
@tomsgadgetgarage2 ай бұрын
Hello! It has a geared hub motor. They describe it as a helical motor which is the cut pattern on the gears.

@@tomsgadgetgarage LOL ... yep, I saw that bit on their web site and wondered what the heck that was supposed to be (my mind conjured up a bunch of wild images). I would like to see a full 'technical' review of this trike but not found one yet. May have to buy one just to do that.
