This ending is EPIC!! | Tears of the Kingdom FINALE Reaction

BIG SPOILERS FOR TEARS OF THE KINGDOM
Finally made it to the end of the adventure, and oh boy it was as good as I heard. So many strong emotions came out during the end of this game, and I could only describe it as "EPIC". I loved every minute of this game, and I don't think I'll ever have another experience quite like it again. Enjoy my reaction to the ending of Tears of the Kingdom

I really don't blame you for crying. I've finished the game myself and watched several people play it, but I still tear up during that cutscene and the first time I saw it, I was sobbing. I also love that the quest to find Zelda only completes after Zelda is turned back. To me it really shows Link's determination and unwillingness to accept that Zelda has to stay as an Immortal Dragon.

Same... honestly I think the first thing I looked up about TOTK was that if Zelda would be in it or something along those lines and if I recall correctly it kinda spoiled her changing twice but the story still got me good and the ending had me in tears for several days whenever I thought about it. BOTW didn't hit me like that at all. There have only been a handful of games that made me tear up but nothing has had me like straight up depressed for days like TOTK. Though I think part of it is also the fact that the ending kinda made it seem that it would be the end of this storyline and I got sad thinking we're going to lose these characters anyway. But the more I think about it the post-credits scene also makes it sound like Zelda still has some unfinished business for "eternal peace" and considering the massive success of the game I'm still hopeful for a trilogy

I just noticed Dragon Ganon has a pig nose. Pretty cool reference to the classic pig form Ganon from earlier Zelda games!

"They're hinting at the Triforce, I feel like..." They absolutely are. Link bears the Triforce of Courage; Rauru and Sonia embody Power and Wisdom, respectively. We know that when the Triforce comes together, it can grant the holder's deepest wish and heralds climactic change; that's what's happening here. That's why Zelda's draconification was able to be reversed, along with Zelda being a descendant of Hylia and herself a bearer of a piece of the Triforce.

@@dolomite1067 Might be so but in this scene you can see the triforce on Sonias arm so obviously that i think that they want to think us that they use the power of the Triforce

@@dolomite1067recall only applies to Sonia , they SPECIFICALLY used their hands as the “reference “ of where the power was coming from and we’ve seen in basically every 3d Zelda game that the triforce imbeds itself into the users hands regardless if they have only one piece or the entire thing. It was 100% the Zelda devs showing that the triforce still exists and still has the power it once did.

You know what would have been a better execution for the Demon Dragon fight? This: Right after swallowing the stone and transforming, Ganon ignores Link and flies into outer space to coat the entire planet in gloom using his breath. as Link helplessly watches the gloom fall from the sky, the sages come to and give their secret stones to Link, which then transform him not into a dragon, but into a godlike, winged being bathed in divine light and resembling Fierce Deity Link from Majora's Mask. Link then flies into space to confront Ganon, and a fight kind of similar to the one with Jubileus The Creator from Bayonetta ensues.

Your reaction was so fun to watch :D At the post credits scene though, I think the reason Link doesn't say anything and can get away with it, is because he's already sworn his service to Zelda lol. Nintendo actually have a logical reason for him to STILL BE SILENT in that scene xD

They were 100% referencing the triforce with that scene . Notice how the triforce was never mentioned in BOTW or TOTK , likely because it’s been so long that people have forgotten the triforce even exists. But raru and Sonia clearly have some knowledge on it. They used the three pieces of the triforce with kink to restore Zelda, you’re not reaching

I recently beat it. I loved it, especially the finale. Probably one of the best since Skyward Sword and Wind Waker

This ending is so friggin' perfect. Sonia and Rauru help Link turn Zelda back to normal as a final act of love to Zelda and as a means of fulfilling their promise to send her back home all those centuries ago. It's so beautiful and heartfelt. And the way Link reawakens Zelda with a "warm, loving embrace." Also, I have to say BOTW/TOTK’s incarnation of Princess Zelda is the first one that I’ve really loved. You get a great sense for her internal struggle, her love not only for Link but also for Hyrule and its people, how she puts everything on the line to stop Ganon/Ganondorf, and how she ultimately overcomes everything in the end. BOTW and TOTK are really her story.
