When Zelda said “ Oh Link.. I’m home”, I believe it is not just she really returned to the Hyrule she belongs to. But Link is her home. In Japanese however, Zelda said this: "ただいま... リンク" (pronounced as I'm home Link). These words depicts that is either someone close to family or a person you shared space with (aka lover). This implicates that Link and Zelda are still lovers since after Breath of the Wild.

When Light Dragon comes to aid Link in the final battle, I’d asked myself a question during the 3rd phase: “Did she come back and maybe Draconification hasn’t removed everything that is Zelda?” I would strongly believed it is her love for her knight is what drove her dragon instinct/consciousness in saving Link from falling and aiding him against the Demon Dragoon. And we all seen that when her powers is activated when the one she loves is threaten in Breath of the Wild’s final memory.

My theory is that the dragons keep their "missions" from when they became dragons. That's why despite losing themselves, the 3 elemental dragons are still the protectors of the springs. Ganondorf wanted to destroy link and cast the world into eternaal darkness. So that's what he did after the transformation, he went after link and began to cast the world into darkness, as seen by the ending of the battle when he forces the day to become night and raises the blood moon. The same way, Zelda wanted to restore the Master Sword and help link against Ganondorf, and that's what she did.

my opinion is that fi kinda sealed zelda mind with the way the master sword was impaled into her forhead. i mean i always thought it was weird as a sword without its lower blade some how ended with that part of the blade suck into zelda. so i think the helped a little with zelda being more aware of link and ganon

Buddy, three years ago, your channel randomly popped up my feed. “PlayStation guy plays Zelda”. I was going through a harsh breakup at the time. Watching you discover Zelda for the first time helped me get through one of the worst times in my life. I’ve been a Zelda fan since i first played a link to the past, and watching you put a smile on my face. The discovery, the adventure, the humour and your hysterical cries for help when in trouble, all added up to something that got me through a bad time. I’ve been a fan ever since. Thank you.

Here is some info about this Fight: Ganondorf is a Boss, Therefore elementary weapons have no effect on him(So don't try flame throwers or anything) The Gloom he sends to you in the second part of the second phase instantly destroys your Equipment basically (this is why the Hylian Shield broke, it reduces its durrability from 800 to 1) You are able to reflect his gloom with the Master Sword however by hitting it with it and turning it into divine Blue Fireballs which harm Ganondorf - nice Reference to A Link to the Past by the way. This however ONLY works on the Master Sword, if you try it with any other weapon, the Gloom will instantly destroy it. Ganondorf can be able to block your Arrows sometimes if you constantly use the bow. And Ganondorf is also able to Flurry Rush out of your Flurry Rush, the best way to beat him is to parry his attack after his flurry rush or just Flurry rush him back. The Reason you deal so much damage to the Demon Dragon is the Master Sword, it became so powerful that it deals the most damage to the dragon, if you do it with other weapon, the damage you'll deal is very pittyful in comparison - but with the Master Sword having its true power this fight is won with ease

My personal favorite thing about this ending sequence comes from the final fall to catch Zelda. If you listen to the music that plays at that moment, the last thing you hear is the sound of a clap. A sound that can only be made by bringing two hands together. You hear it right after Link catches Zelda by the hand. The composers for this game's music are geniuses.

Oh man, this makes me wanna cry. I remember seeing Dee just barely start Breath of the Wild way back in 2020. I was on the hunt for a fresh Breath of the Wild playthrough to devour, when I stumbled upon the title of "PlayStation/Xbox guy plays Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the FIRST TIME" or something like that, and enjoying seeing his reaction to most of the beginning of the game. I did forget about it for a little while till several months later, when I decided to check back on him, only to find he had already completed Breath of the Wild and had begun Ocarina of Time. Seeing him check out the entire franchise was a joy, from oot, mm, tp, ss, and ww. I was also unbelievably happy to see him check out MajorLink's (the best Zelda fan animator in the world, no question) work. It was such an amazing ride that you took us on, Dee. It's sad that it's over, but I'm glad that it happened. Thank you

My headcanon is that Zelda's dragonifaction was able to be reversed thanks to the Triforce being unified in three people: Link, courage, Sonia, wisdom, and Rauru, power (notable because this Ganondorf was much weaker than Rauru and needed a secret stone to actually challenge him). In a duology of games that notably doesn't use the Triforce, the only times we've seen it are when the light power of the Royal Family is being used: Zelda's Awakening in BOTW, and at the end of TOTK where Rauru and Sonia (as members of the Hyrulean Royal Family) possess said power, and Link has access to it by literally being fused to Rauru hand.

Deebee is so battle hardened at this point that the extra long health bar, so long that it went behind his facecam, didn't get any reaction whatsoever. he is just that unphased by the Demon King's power. Regardless, that is a truly fantastic and surprisingly simple way of displaying his strength. Just a looong hp bar to get across what you're facing, and eventually, what you've overcome.

Final battle in this game is just incredible and a lot more challenging, had a a lot of fun battling and learning the fight.(apart from you and many others who have so much health and items to get rid of gloom and make you super powerful) but yeah very cinematic. The final part with Zedla coming in to help and catching her once it’s over, “oh link.. I’m home” plus the way it all looked with the music too, made me all emotional. TOTK what a beautiful and wonderful game. ❤️❤️❤️

Yeah, I went in with basically nothing - no food, few hearts, bad armor, no fused master sword, etc and it definitely made the fight much more challenging than it could have been. Long-time viewer, first-time commenter: I started watching back during your playthrough of BotW in 2020, and that series got me through some tough times. Back then, I was at a job I hated, my mental health was...not great, and I was really struggling -- but being able to unwind and have a few laughs while revisiting a series that's always meant a lot to me really helped back then. Three years later, I'm in a much better place, and while it's bittersweet to see this journey come to an end (at least until the next Zelda game!), I'm glad I could be around for the whole thing. Thanks for everything, Dee.

44:25 Mineru theorized that reversing Zelda’s Draconification requires Sonia’s Time power and Rauru’s Light Power to be channeled through Link’s arm; but activating magic is also in need of strong motive. That is when Zelda smiles at her knight knowing how much his princess means to him. This and his main mission to find her since the opening confirms that Link loves Zelda in Tears of the Kingdom is canon. On the side note at 44:41 : you can hear familiar piano tone that is a reference to the opening sequence of Breath of the Wild (where Link’s journey began as he step out of the Shrine of Resurrection).

I went directly into the last fight almost a year after the last time I had played. By the time I got to the army of ganon, I only had 7 hearts and no sunlight food. By the time I got to ganon himself, I had 4 hearts... I turned a relatively challenging final boss fight into a pseudo dark souls slugfest of dying and repeating XD But it was fun. I haven't completed most of the zelda games. OoT was my first zelda game, and first real video game and always has a place in my heart. The only other games I've completed are TP, BotW, and TotK. So, out of everything Ganon did in BOTW and TOTK, the thing that Dee finds the most unforgiveable is that Ganondorf declares himself the "Menace of Hyrule" as if he's better at causing chaos to innocent people than Link is?

I came across this channel, right around when Dee's second or third BOTW video was posted, and I have been watching ever since. I've been a lifelong Zelda fan and it was great seeing someone that wasn't familiar with all of the lore, tropes, etc start from scratch and work through it, and the humor and heart have made it that much better. Seeing Dee with his baby gave me flashbacks to the Breath of the Wild time. I had to rush and quickly beat BOTW because I had a baby on the way, and didn't know how much time I would have for it after. I ended up slowly getting all the shrines and such afterwards, sometimes with my baby sleeping on my chest😂 Anyway, Dee, congratulations on the success! It's been a pleasure to watch, and I will continue to keep an eye on your content. Hopefully it doesn't take another 6 years to get a new mainline Zelda game 🤞

Here are some funfacts: If you have no Armor, every attack would remove at least 5 of your hearts (with Gloom Damage) , you need at least an armor of around 20 or above to reduce it to 1 heart per attack

Ngl I was very disappointed to find out that Ganondorf doesn't do a lot of damage lol. When I did this boss fight, I didn't have upgraded armor, hearts or food, which made this really challenging and fun. Seeing everyone else being able to afford many, many more hits makes me realize that this is where a "master mode" would have been really good. I feel like Ganondorf should have had a minimum damage threshold to account for overpowered defense. Still a phenomenal final boss though, especially the atmosphere and the diversity of his attacks.

Thank you for the work you put into this franchise. It was fun to watch, and your humor helped it a lot. It made me laugh, but it also showed how much you cared about the storyline. Good luck with your other adventures.

Thank you for streaming so much of this game on Twitch! I had to join Twitch for the first time this year to get my fix. Thank you so much for waiting to start playing until some months had passed, so we got to experience it for ourselves first! I ended just a little bit after you, but didn't watch you finish until today :-) Have started Ocarina of Time, and am enjoying your OoT-videos that is not a spoiler for me thus far. Love your passion! Thank you!! I think my favourite Tears of the Kingdom episode live on Twitch was when you had built Bessie and wanted to create "that smoke effekt"... I knew what was about to happen, and I still laughed so hard!

I've loved watching your Zelda journey along with several other of your journeys (Kingdom Hearts and Halo come to mind). I cannot wait to see where else they take us (Dark Souls) and cannot wait to see where it goes! Thanks for all the laughs and fun times!

Yeah. Apparently those attacks could even take away _several_ at once, but if you have decent armor on it can be reduced to just 1 heart shattered per hit. (I'm also kinda annoyed how it just... gives them back to you when the dragon fight starts. I think it woulda been more interesting if that kind of damage stuck with you to the end.)

I've been waiting for this for so long. I stumbled across your channel about a year ago, watched you play BotW and then when I saw you revisiting all the old titles, I had to watch it. And man, what a journey it was. To be able to relive all those plot twists, crazy Zelda theories, all this amazing world building of the franchise as if it was something new, because for you it was. Your reactions were so genuine and so real. I was eagerly awaiting for you to discover the next bit of story, the next tiny plot twist that I knew was coming. And it really brightned my time here on earth doing so. Can't wait for the next Zelda game. This franchise is still considered niche among other big titles and what a shame it is. Cause it's definately some of the best expieriences a gamer could ever have. Thank you for this.

At least we know that Hyrulean Water doesn't hit you like concrete when falling at terminal velocity. It's really interesting to know The Legend of Zelda has an Afterlife kind of along the lines of The Elder Scrolls. Souls turn into Spirits after death that don't really depart, they could still interact with the living, but not on their own terms. There's like some kind of hidden force that allows them to communicate with the mortal world, but when it's "their time" to move on they can't fight it.

I mean, we see spirit communicating with us in lots of Zelda games. In OoT one of the Sages (Rauru, which was alive during Hyrule's creation) was long gone, but his spirit still resided inside the Chamber of Sages

Most likely because of... 1) This was at the end of a _massive_ stream, maybe over 8 hours (I forget exactly). 2) It was like... 10pm or so his time and he has a kid. So he was both very tired and probably didn't want to make a lot of noise to risk waking others up. (Honestly, I think it really hurt the end of this whole thing too. He _really_ didn't need to keep going for that long. He already spent the 1st 5 hours or so finishing all the shrines, I really think he should've ended it there and did 1 more stream.)
