I was really excited to use this oil on my bike, but my friend tried it on his Gixxer 250 on behalf of my suggestion and later mocked me for the suggestion. My past 3 oil changes on FZ-S version 2 were, 1st - Shell Advance 10w 40 fully synthetic (This was the engine oil that my bike’s engine enjoyed the most felt very smooth in city(42kmpl) and on the highway(50 kmpl). 2nd - Motul 7100 10w 40 (This engine oil made the bike feel extremely rev happy and enjoyed being on high revs all day on the highways but in city the gear shifts felt bit clunky and engine didn’t felt as smooth as when I used Shell. Mileage figures were almost same as Shell. 3rd - Castrol Power 1 Racing 10w 40. Neither my bike nor did I enjoyed the experience Castrol gave us. After 1500kms the engine gives a lot of vibrations and oil has lost its viscosity and I can hear the (kat-kat) noise from my Over head cams which I used to get with the Yama lube semi synthetic engine oil. There’s a drop in mileage figures too in city I am getting around 40 kmpl and on highway 45-46 kmpl.

@@mayurbomble7247 i prefer fully synthetic engine oils spending ₹200 more on fully synthetic engine oil saves me money on fuel and keeps my bike healthy for a long life.

Even I felt that way with Castrol Power 1, my bike seems like it's running worse than it did with the Motul 7100. Not sure if it's just a placebo effect.

Hi Sportztourer, thanks for all your videos, they are all well made and informative. Would it possible for you to do lab tests on different fuels. Primarily to check what the ethanol levels are in current fuels being sold at pumps. I run XP95 on my Duke 390 and can't help but notice the rather fruity smell from the exhaust when at standstill.😄

I tried this one in my Gixxer 250 It was pathetic experience, no refinement at all ! (Changed in 1500kms) I've wasted my money on this. Shifted to motul 300v, nothing is close to performance of 300v!

@@thesportztourer I was getting vibrations above 60kph(even suzuki ecstar r9000 had better smoothness), I tried motul 7100 too before it was better except gearshifts (addinol pole position had better gearshifts) After all this I tried motul 300v I felt it's the best among all !(no vibrations till redline!)

I didnt try this addinol but I almost tried all other known brands and different variants in them .. Nothing comes closer to 300V .. with 300V I see my bike good smoothness and smoother gear shifts too .. I felt like light weight .. My bike is not struggling with anything

Hi sir watching your videos got me lot of confusions, i own a FZS V3 i used to give service always to the authoried service centre, my problem is my bike has hard gear shifting issue whenever i told them to check on that they were not able to fix it properly so I decesid to chenge engine oil this time not to go with Yamaha recommend so please help me which should i go for my bike i am a city comuter travel around 30 to 35 KM everyday, i thought of going it to Liqui molly synthetic or motul 7100 now im totally confused by your videos 😢 and upgrading to a fully synthetic oil do i need to take any precautions for my engine? No joking i got 53kmpl from rtr 200 4v bs6 but my motorcycle is damn stupid it turned off and didnot started 😑 for 9 days blasting heads of engineers and what they said to me was do not go to local garages this bike gave us headache for 9 days also i think that amount of kmpl means i am having a serious problem in my engine or fuel system i think so😊

I prefer the 5100 for what it offers. AX7 is an another favorite but nowadays availability is an issue. Powertrack is a value for money product.

I have used ADDINOL in my diesel Fiat Punto multiple times which was fair enough. But when I used (forced by the garage/not telling me beforehand) in my Ducati Scrambler, the performance didn’t last much. I didn’t like it. The engine was heating compared with Motul Fully synthetic and Shell oils I have used before. I think it’s too much marketing gimmick just like Liqui Moli and the performance is average or below it. Maybe it doesn’t show much difference in low capacity motorbikes.

Guys Using Apache Rtr 160 2v for the past 6 years and recently clocking 50K there was a slight engine noise then after leaving with the a trusted mechanic and he said that crankshaft causes that much and even white smoke came didn't even notice but thankfully he Fully restored my bike as new and 5100 was poured in and previously i was using 7100,Shall i stick with Motul or go with Shell💯 @thesportztourer
