I might be in the minority but I prefer the first three episodes over the rest of the season; not to say the rest isn’t amazing, I just vibe with these episodes more.

The establishing moments in stories, the set up, generally are more personal and intimate moments, and I can understand preferring them. Plus the build up to the end of ep 3 is so beautiful, and while the other eps are amazing I agree, it is nice to have a more limited scope so you can really just focus on one thing

I don’t have the same preference because I love the later arcs so much (plus my love for unexpected time skips beats my love for establishing stories usually), but I usually am that one weird person who likes the first movie more than the even-more-high-quality more-ambitious sequels because of just the feeling I felt being introduced to the world and characters. Nothing beats it. And I also agree that having this first arc where they’re kids and everything goes to shit is a massive expectation breaker that is kind of central to the how good the whole show is.

Too many copyright strikes simultaneously and the channel is banned. I can't remember if it's just insanely difficult to undo, or no recourse. This was also at a week when Jay quit his day job to do this channel fulltime, and they were getting sponsorships. So out of a healthy amount of self preservation they pulled Arcane down entirely so that they didn't get additional strikes at once.
