i don’t think stolas knew he was planning to be assassinated cause as he said, he feels pretty safe at the festival and he rarely goes outside so there would be no point in trying to assassinate him, and if you mean from the last clip stolas didn’t notcing stella yelling about her wanting him killed, stolas usually tunes out stella’s nagging cause it’s annoying so when she stops talking he looks at her confused cause she isn’t talking anymore

Vivziepop took longer on this episode because the quality took a huge fucking leap. The pans around with the subtle CGI is great.

While a lot of the episode really looked good with some great effect, some corners also seemed to be cut. There were a couple of scenes where it was *really* notable that the framerate took a large drop. Mainly when Blizto called Moxie near the beginning, and again when Stolas was announcing the Harvest Moon Festival. I'm sure other episodes had areas like that, but they were just *very* noticeable here.

It was really only noticeable because I'm so used to their animation being usually so smooth and silky that when the framerate dropped to less than a third of it's norm, it was somewhat jarring.

Plus, its not as intensive as a normal acting gig, so if your not actively broadcasting that a famous person is in your show (you know the whole thing where they just have the name for the trailer), most will be willing to do it so long as you can pay and have a good reputation.

I've been binging reactions to this ep and I've said so many times that I was interested in what a Striker/Blitzo team up would be like and what Stolas would think of Blitzo working with someone he's interested in and seems to be interested in him but now I think Striker and Blitzo are my favorite Helluva Boss ship (spot previously held by no one because Millie and Moxxie were my fav and they're already married), with these two succubi girlfriends from episode 3 coming in second.
