Goku Isn’t a bad dad, but he ain’t a good or perfect one either. Just a flawed guy and that’s about it. It’s pretty wild that the bar is so low for anime dads that the guy who died for his son TWICE is considered shit tier And honestly? The guy is so insane and dumb that if he were given a choice to die for his family again, he’s do it in a heartbeat, even in a world without dragon balls or with just very limited ones, goku was always so proactive and simpleminded that his physical life never even really meant that much to him anywhere Like its wild that there were genuinely a hoard of anime AND DB FANS alike that took a mistranslation as fact and genuinely believed goku never kissed his wife when he literally has two kids 💀

@@theradionicrevival8068 i honestly would believe goku never kissed chichi, because of how dumb and ignorant he is. I wouldnt be surprised if he just had sex with chichi and made kids without kissing at all. And just because he would die for his family, it doesnt really equate to him being a good dad. Like imagine your dad left to grab milk and never came back for 30 years, and suddenly comes back to take a bullet for you, he would be a hero, but not a good dad. 1:24:31 what happened was that they initially had a prop door and blunt ax for Jack to break down. But because Jack had previously worked as a firefighter, he knocked down that door WAY too effectively, ruining the tension since the door was gone in a matter of seconds. so instead they just gave him a real ax, and got a real door that was heavy duty.

I usually put an episode on in the background and listen while i go about my other business. The FMA Nina take literally made me stop what I was doing, alt-tab back to this KZbin page, gasp in horror as I watch the boys double-down on it, and finally, I had to leave this comment. Truly... horrified and amazed. I can't even...

I'm still at the Dad segment, but I'm surprised no one mentioned Shiro from Blue Exorcist, it's been a while since I've seen/read this but the dude adopted the spawn of Satan, cared more than any normal father would for them and proceeded to throw hands with Satan when they were in danger. He's not in the show/manga for long but his impact is felt all the way throughout.

The arc in the manga that tells the story about the brothers' mother and Shiro taking care of the twins is easily the best arc in Blue Exorcist. At the ending of that story when the protagonist said thank you to Shiro in the past, god damn it, it is so good.

Pro-tip: If you are going to use the toilet liners, lick your thumb or whatever before using them, get a drop of water from the faucet and dab it on some of the parts that will lay flat. The adhesive properties of water will make it stick to the seat so that it won't slide around.
