u can also turn off the spectrum analyzer in EQ8 or Pro-Q if u don't want to have that visual guide. those analog eq's don't really offer much for producers i've come to realize. they just have different eq curves built into them. mixing engineers can benefit from them because they don't have access to the synths etc where u can change the sound to make it sound the way you want!
