There is a mission for sweden which gives you a finnish cav mercenary If anybody wants them Don't convert the finnish culture Its a special type of merc which doesn't spend army professionalism And if you continue the mission tree you upgrade them from 12 unit to 30 They also don't follow the infantry/cav ratio rule They are perfect for stack wiping

You should have a look at the Britannia Stands mod, it's set after the fall of the Roman empire where Britannia is the last bastion of the Romans integrated into the local cultures I'm not sure if it'd make a good video but I think it'd be cool

I found a bug/feature about that Kopparberget in Dalaskogen. If you have it under construction to level 2 when you complete the mission 'stora kopparberget' it will give you an event to increase the level to level 2. So it will be level 2 but when you complete the already building it will be level 3, for the price of a level 2. You just saved 5k ducats.

Just finished my Sweden run with this patch and it was beyond fun. Only thing that annoyed me was when I clicked the mission that gives you PU CB over Poland, I unpaused and Poland formed the Polish Commonwealth right after and the CB was gone. But nevertheless, it is a great patch and DLC.

If you pick the second option and win the war solo it fires an event that gives you some nice bonuses including a bunch of mana points.

Are they permanent bonuses? Cuz I think unless you can win the war in the same amount of time as with allies the bonuses aren't worth the time lost fighting independence when you have to fight Novgorod before Muscovy eats them

@@Anselmer_ It doesn't take long to win the war solo. Your troops are so much better. I stack wiped the Norwegians, then the Teutons then the Danes. Meanwhile I strategically attacked their fleet and repaired until it was all gone. Ate most of Novgorod in next war, then Livonian Order, then Muscovy. At 1560 in my game I own almost all of Muscovy, Poland and Kazan, got BI, all of Scotland as vassal, took London, Castile as PU and most of Northern Germany, as well as two large CNs in NA, then Carribbean and working on Africa now. Sweden truly OP in this patch.

The second option ia the best in my opinion, since majority of danish rival is already will accept Support for independence since the beginning of the game+ you get +33% manpower recovery speed which is INSANE

Funnily, I started a Sweden run yesterday. Therefore to answer your question: I'm pretty sure Johan Vasa is not scripted as 6/4/4. My random ruler on declaring independence was 6/5/4 (real chad) and I think Johan Vasa was a bit worse (dont remember exactly but around 5/3/4 or something). Chose the random ruler therefore and now have a "Cruu" dynasty :D

Burg means castle so Koenigsburg is "King's Castle". Another one you'll often see is Berg = mountain. Ah heck, have some more: Fluss = river Tal = valley Furt = ford Edit: I like that they've limited the bonus centers of trage to level 2 but would have been nice to get something else if they already are level 2.

I prefer to take second option and win independence myself. Its easy to do just declare war moment you get tech 4 and you get it before ince you start game focusing on it while denmark is not

You don't need to wait till tech 4 if going it alone, that just gives the Danes more time to get allies. I declared in December 1444. You take the 75% discounted commander from the nobility and promote to level 3, hire the mercs and build about 10-15 galleys. Once you declare you rush down Norway while the Danes and their ally siege your forts. Once Norway is under control come back and relieve the sieges. Then clean up Norway and keep fighting the Danes in Skane. Once Danish army is depleted you can for the crossing to the their capital to win.

@@rorybax3287 danish allies tend to be weak and with tech 4 you can actually snowball them too easly especially with general given to you. trouble is crossing can be impossible if they got naval allies so yours can be interesting approach.

Hear me out. I played as sweeden and got dacke war because of a mission i forgot to do. I recommend 100% to do that mission because after the dacke war you will be crippeled if you Are as stubborn about autonomy as me. in theory you wouldnt have to fight that war, just wait until they abondon you, Burgundy has done that VERY VERY often before this upate when you played as holland/brabant/flanders and got france england and someone else to support you, takes usually a couple months but you cant take land from them and lose your potential allies so... always fight those wars, its also more fun

Quite mistake to convert Finnish culture as you have missions where you need their culture in both Sweden and Scandinavian mission tree and if I’m not mistaken you need to complete them for the last mission in tree
