Devils ruin has always been a sleeper pick in my opinion, if you can learn to pre charge it and know when to use the sidearm form this thing litteraly just destroys anything. I have been using it nonstop since late beyond light and have over 20k kills on it and it never gets boring just melting gaurdians.

Dude. This thing straight up slaps in checkmate :-) Been using it with a near max range tigerspite with moving target/kill clip all weekend. So good. Actually been enjoying knucklehead radar too for some reason. Free radar and tracking on a tag is nice. But yea, Devils Ruin is just a checkmate king :-)

I havent gone flawless yet this weekend but I did use Devil's ruin for a bit and my gosh its fun :D Sure I gotta get the hang of the laser vs normal shots timing but when it slaps it slaps hard xD I needed to use a diff loadout than just igneous only. makes it more interesting.

@@yamiangelous depends on the player. I spent thousands of hours to learn to snipe, now i cant because i have no ammo. You might love checkmate, but alot of people dont. Sitting around teamshooting with ignious double primary isnt great either imo

Lol Checkmate is inching back toward D2 vanilla, so you could argue that D2 was indeed built for checkmate. But yeah, the existence of pseudo special weapons like bows, Vex, Revision Zero, and Devil's Ruin hurt the integrity of the mode.
