Being a fan of this club has taught me 3 things: 1- You don't see a pattern of inconsistency in a team's performance and expect them to change it easily, especially when they are winning against big teams and giving away games to weak teams 2- It is NEVER about the manager at this point, IT IS ALL ABOUT THE PLAYERS' MENTALITY 3- Until I see actual good results (be it in minimally showing the fighting spirit and a committed attitude towards the fans when playing the game to winning 1 trophy at least this season because when will you ACTUALLY WIN???) Thought we had a good bench today, but use it early. Why buy Gray and Bergval and only bring them on when it is going well for last 10 mins. Obviously Maddison and Bissouma should have been on for Sarr and another today. Midfield had no fight. Defence, Dragusin especially poor. He goes to Werner who we can’t trust. No end product. Wants all the quickest players in the league with zero dribbling and crossing skills. Must have had 15 corners. Found our head once. Very annoyed with the players, but Ange is way too calm, makes changes too late. Until you can defend and keep clean sheets, you can’t build a run or momentum. Son was completely out of it the whole 2nd half,was played in a wrong position, him and Kulu were off it. Davies is much better,safer than Dragusin who seems quite erratic. Simply put... Our club has to grow a pair from top to bottom. We have no balls. I refuse to believe the players are not on the same page as Ange as we've seen it work and work well. Our players appear to have an arrogance that they haven't earned. These are professional players for G-d's sake but they are simply unable to adapt to playing styles and adversity. We simply fold. The mentality of a successful side just isn't there. It's frustrating, and only time will tell how much tolerance the upper echelons will show before they pull the plug on the manager.
