This F2P Platinum Trick Might Get You Banned!

I'm F2P, I got no alts but to be fair, if you enjoy having alts, I never got issue, your time, your game. Recently I got a few people asking me in the chat/DM if this is fine to do and asking to react, and the reality is that it seems a grey area and hard to give an advice if you should or not. But since nobody really knows if this is agaisnt ToS or not, I sent this situation to Blizzard to double check if we can or cannot do this. It's under review, I will let you guys know when I get an answer in this comment! Personally I think it's risky to do, so even if many other players are doing this or even selling or buying accounts, unless I have the full confirmation that it's okay, it's something that I'm personally not comfortable with or I recommend to do. My account has hundred of hours, yes since it's F2P - it's the only way xD so I would truly be dumb to go to waste by doing something stupid. Better safe than sorry So if you wanna do it, do it at your own risk but you know that if one day, the account gets banned, you probably know what it has. I will keep you guys posted!

I know u said u didn't want anyone in here blasting on your friends but u need to understand one thing about apollyon gaming, ever since he got kicked out of partner program he started to make videos about things that border against ToS or straight up just trashing the game. He knows people can get banned for doing this and he doesn't give 2 fks. Thats the reason why people talk chit about him as a content creator

I did alt farming with my sold account before few Months ago. It made my char reached 5.6 AP and 4k rest of secondRy stats. Having do that made myself drain playing triggering myself to sell it. It took too much of my time as what you said in the video. Currently playing low progress accnt with 1k reso and I am on Top 1 spot in my server.

Here is 150% safe way to do plat stuff. Doubt its something old players dont know, but it cant hurt to share with new ppl. Checked long ago with Blizz and it violates 0 of any rules since u actualy play with more then 1 char. I get plat via alts for long time now, BUT its all one account. Meaning i have 1 main and 4 alts on same account. U get plat on alts with know methods of ig farming and then just transfer from each alt on main. NEVER use 2 platforms at same time; that is insta ban if they catch you doing it. So dont have 1 char loged on mob and other on pc, for example, at same time. Log out from main, log in with alt, do your stuff, log back on main, repeat the process. Pay market transfer fee (which is rude imo, but...) and you will never be short on plat. It requires bit more time, but it costs 0 euros, just time and nerves. Hope it will be helpfull to someone. Happy hunting all, and may ur 1* gem drops be low ;)

When gems were selling for max, I was running 4 alts a day through lairs, 1 hour for 80k plat after transfer fees. Roughly 140$ worth of plat if bought from the shop. Anyone I know that was banned was either being blatant about it, using macros/scripts, or they were also buying 3rd party plat.

i am actually doing this as a side hustle lol, i earned around 3million plat last year when normal gems were selling for 400 per piece, I quit for 3 months then came back to a dead market, and sold all my plat like the bots hahaha, budget whales loved it and bought all of my plat, it actually doesnt take that much time, 3 hours per week and l could run 15 alts using my main.

Twins in one account allowed, Multiple accounts and then pushing the platinum onto one account is not allowed. It's the same as buying from a platinum seller. That is my level of knowledge. But it's good that he asked.

I had an alternate account where I would get platinum and then buy things from my main account, so I could transfer the platinum to my main account, I didn't get banned but it's something you can't abuse, if they notice that you're getting large amounts of platinum in a short time you draw attention and get banned, doing that is considered abusing the game's market system, I did it just to buy a gem I wanted, but I won't do it again because I don't want to risk losing my account where I've invested time and some money.

Transferring platinum from alts is a problem now because you have to always buy the cheapest items in the market first and the minimum price is fixed for all items 🤷‍♂️

@@R0nde1 let’s say your alt has 6k plat you would need 12 of 500plat familiars on your main to sell to your alt and then you still lose 15% plus I don’t even have so many familiars I use them for conversions 🤌😂

It's no problem at all. You do it with Familliars, which cannot be restricted by the minimum listing price because they are all different. It's also very easy to obtain pets with whatever # of rare skills you want because you can simply Meld a pet with a Conversion stone now and it will +1 a rare skill onto it.

My opinion is it’s okay to have alts and farm platinum then buy things overpriced off your main….that’s cool, it’s when you start multi boxing and using accounts at the same time things get complex, on RuneScape you can splitscreen accounts but you can’t multibox or bot, I’d think the same applies here the company’s are very similar

l have been using multi box for 2 years now and alt farming with 15 alts + my main, still havent been banned, I used the multi box instance from the battle net settings itself, I didnt use any 3rd party app, i opened 4 instances in which i used my main to carry 3 alts untill it caps, then i run the other ones untill all get capped, usually takes 3-4 hours per week depending on the time you go lair hunting

Generally my advice as a person who got 5k reso with alts and got banned is if you wanna do that, do it until you reach 3k reso, no one from big whales will report you cause you will still not be very strong, if you try to go more reso for me becomes more dangerous

I have 20 toons on my account and run them one at a time and sell the extra gems and pets. All my characters are on the same account and server so hopefully they'll clear this up.

People do this like 6months ago when its worth it. Now all gems in SEA sells for 50plat, sapp 150plat. 12 x ~60 plat on ave = 720 plat. Minus 15% tax, your left with 612 plats. LOL happy farming. I would rather my main on mobile and afk watch netflix.

Hey bro, I'm a Spanish-speaking Diablo content creator. I'm reaching out to say hi and talk about the alt accounts thing. It seems like the English-speaking community is making a big deal out of it as if it's something new, but in reality, it's been going on since the game launched, haha. In servers with healthy economies (like the US and Europe), it's not as common because it's unnecessary. But in servers where it's hard to get platinum through normal means (like LATAM and Brazil), it's the only way for F2P players to progress. The difference between regions is huge! Although, there are some people who take it to the extreme, haha. I know players who farm gems with 100 or more alt accounts! Greetings from Mexico, and sorry for my English, haha.

Ahah I'm recent to DI, but from my understanding this is also been happening forever in US/Europe, same as account selling/buying, hacks or other times for grey areas or cheats. But just because something is been here forever, doesn't mean it can't get you in trouble. I can confirm, in LATAM every single gems it cost 50 plat and it takes you days, weeks to be able to sell them. It's impossible to improve your character without alters as F2P, we need Kouta as a partner for Spanish speaking community, because the Spanish speaking community doesn't currently have an active partner.. and we need Kouta to send this feedback to blizzard and for them to find out about how the economy is on our servers, the economy of our servers is a disaster !!

This is bannable for market manipulation, seen a screenshot on reddit claiming this. This method isnt all too viable anymore with just topaz citrine selling near minimum and sapphire aqua selling at only 180 100. Definitely not worth the risk.

Lol. Its not a grey area. Adding external/ non in game mechanic is not ok. People just want to justify using unreasonable arguments. Unlike follow its is an in game mechanic should be fine. Buying account is subject to ban. Problem is how can you prove it considering that screen shots can easily be fabricated this day and age. unless they require to attach personal info paired with lock system, there is no system that can detect it.

At least we know who to report in the game. Apollyon's content contributes to the complete destruction of an already destroyed market, where you can barely sell anything. As a normal player with one account, I will always report them just because this platinum tunneling has destroyed the entire market. It's been proven along time ago that having multiple accounts doing this is not really worth it. Pets won't sell unless it has savior and even then it will take a while to sell Charms will never sell like they used to Normal gems aren't worth selling anymore Runes will only sell if they are legendary and it'll take a few days or more Best way to make plat is to sell the terror essence and leg gems
