Thank you for rescuing this lovely bird, glad it turned out well for you and the bird. With a long history of domestication they make great pets, even the standard city pigeon. This white beauty was likely released at a wedding or some such event. Cruel business, they’re not great homers, get lost, exhausted, can’t feed themselves, easy target for hawks & the like. Find some other way to celebrate / commemorate please folks. Our white pigeon was called Goose, was heading for being put down so we adopted. He’s definitely a boy, a big boy and renamed Henry, after Henry VIII. He has an assertive personality!
