150 cows and a ranch is like inheriting -$75,000 in debt. If everything is paid off. Your average income is about $40,000 if around 100 cows actually have calves. That's why every ranch with less than 500 cows always had a separate buisness. You have no idea how broke he was because of his inheritance.
