It’s a color thing. I moved to NC to a small town a year ago, and it was the worst mistake possible. (I was born here Mom left when I was 3 years old.) I live a life they cannot have and they hate me for it. Mind you my life not no where near where I am heading. It’s also our color too that envy me because they want to be nosy and know who I am so bad. I never knew it was a crime to say Hi and Bye. Oh and the way they talk is so aggressive and when I let it be known I’m not the one then I am now the problem. I was taught if you don’t start no ish it won’t be no ish PERIOD. But now I stop entertaining miserable people and just waiting patiently for Gods next plan for me and my family.

It’s a shame out here i started working in Fairfax Virginia some months ago and noticed and experienced so much racism. I knew it was still here but not like this. Hoe they talk to us treat us and so on. I even had one lady throw stuff at my office door everything she could find but let me say if I would’ve walked out that door and something would’ve hit me it would’ve been a problem. I didn’t know what was going on and didn’t hear anything as i was down the hall using the restroom but when i came out and was going to my desk and seen all the stuff that was all over the place I couldn’t believe it. I wrote a email to my manager and the GM all they had to say was did I put a sign up land the time sign that states when I would be back. That’s not even procedure. I couldn’t believe this madness. So i said to myself I will pull these cameras up myself and so i was watching them I couldn’t believe this lady that was in her 50’s carrying on like a child reaching over grabbing stuff off my desk and throwing it at the door. That. Just made me so angry but what really made me angry was management they could’ve done the same thing i did and watch the cameras and seen what was going on and who did it and handled it accordingly. I thought u suppose to have your employers back. I can see if I was wrong but. I did nothing wrong i just went to use the rest room and wasn’t not there when the lady was Ted me to be there. It still don’t sit right with me thats why im currently looking for another place of employment. These people know exactly what they are doing but like the saying goes God don’t like ugly and what u do you others will turn around and be done to you. I believe in that. I had this exact same problem happen to me . I booked a air bnb a couple of years ago. Was very honest about all the people who were coming to the house. We were in a predominantly white neighborhood in ocean pines md. The neighbors were coming over asking us questions from what we thought was genuine. Later that day I got a call from the lady I rented the house from stating everything we were doing as if we were being watched. Mind you we were barely in the house, only to sleep n eat. Neighbors lied made it seem like we were bothering them n more. From that day on I do not bother using air bnb. They have secret cameras they have on which is not respecting the renters privacy.

As sad as this is, it's what's real out here. Many have accepted us in "their" communities and neighborhoods but many still have not. This needs to be addressed if for no other reason so "we" do not continue to give our money to those who continue to treat us like this. Fantasia, should drop the exact airbnb she went to, This just pissed me off. As a mother we do our very best to make our children's birthday special. To have to explain to your child they have to leave. That sometimes pink people /snow colored people feel like you should not be able to one financially be in the same place they dwell and too because of the color your skin it is infuriating.

Please put the owners of the property on notice because AirBnB doesn’t make the rules or rental agreements for tenants who rent out their properties. With her status she should definitely take her story to her legal team and discuss options for suing and refund and emotional distress to the children that are involved!
