Well Mr Soenzo, like Paul said to me, "I'm not interested in beating the competiton, i started the company with the single aim of one day creating a limited edition custom model for BAND-MAID's Kanami Tono & i've realised my lifetime's goal".🙂

You may disagree, but I still don't think Fender and PRS are in direct competition all that much. There's some overlap with the Silver Sky, but I don't think most Fender fans are that into PRS's offerings. Personally, I'm not really a big fan of PRS because I don't like their aesthetic - the ornate figured tops and bird inlays and all that. Maybe it's the Japanese in me, but I much prefer a more minimalist aesthetic, which is why the only PRS I've ever owned was a CE-24 in plain black, with dot inlays, like the one Alex Lifeson used to play in the 90s. It was admittedly a nice guitar, but I found the PRS body shape uncomfortable for me to play sitting down, so I'll never buy one again. I like the DGT SE in gold with dot inlays, but again... the body shape isn't comfortable for me. Perhaps a Vela with an offset waist might be more comfortable, but they've started putting those darn bird inlays on those, too...

I get you're a PRS fanboy but if you think fender is discounting a damn thing to skew their rankings on a Reverb list you're out of your mind.

It took two years for PRS to figure out how to make a Strat copy and another4 years to figure out how to make a lefty version. BTW Reverb stats are only really relevant in America. PRS is no where near as popular in Asia.
@mr.sorenzo8 күн бұрын
They’ve been in business for decades, and are on top of the food chain when it comes to the quality of their guitars. They’ve got their own shapes and philosophy of guitar making so I don’t think it’s a figuring out issue pal. Frankly I’ll take a US made Custom 24 over almost any guitar. Now it’s totally fine if you’re not a fan. Or if it’s not popular in Asia.

@@shanewalton8888 what you call pregnant strat, is responsible for so much tone, sustain, ergonomics. They’ve got the best of Gibson and Fender paradigms in their guitar architecture. But like I said, you don’t like em. And that’s fine
