I lost my Dad before just before Covid anyway me and Dad had this love for Scorpions when we saw them at Ramblin Man 2015 he instantly loved them unfortunately passed away in 2019 so once Scorpions announced their Wembley show for June I had to go for Dad and they was amazing

I lost my dad in 2010 when I was 15 years old, and ever since I've not been able to talk about it with even my closest friends and family. Wacken's overrated. Washed up acts, too many gateway bands and more annoying drunks than fun ones. Also way too expensive for what you get. I stayed in police cells more comfortable. With better food too

That comment about speaking to your dad touched me. I never had a relationship with my dad until I got out of a very dark place in addiction. We are now best mates. He is 75 years old and I'm 35. It took many years but we got there eventually. Its beautiful to have in my corner. I hear you Rob, tell Chock what he needs to hear.

Absolutely loved Graspop this year. Saturday damn near ended me! Alternating between the north and south mainstage from 15:00 until 01:30 was exhausting but so worth it. Front line at While She Sleeps and Architects was mental. I think I was stood quite close to you guys as well during the Pendulum gig. Third time seeing them and they just never fail to deliver when they play in a tent!

6:51 I've been going to Graspop for over 20years. We're were staying at Devils lake, and when taking the shuttlebus to the festival we passed several car parks and the entrances to them were flooded so yes it was the right call to close those as no car would be able to get in anyways. Even the crew camping which we passed was partially flooded.

Been to Download 5 times and Graspop 3 times. If Graspop wasn’t such a hassle to get to (flights/ferry etc) I’d go a lot more as the organisation is just so much better than Download. The Belgians know how to get shit done.

You guys should check out Hellfest in France, Obscene Extreme in the Czechia, or Tolminator (formally Metal Days) in Slovenia. Hellfest goes all out with themes and attention to detail and is absolutely massive now. the other two are smaller fests but are well worth it.

Had a buddy whose solution to the muddy festival tents was to put the ground sheet down, then an airbed, and _then_ the tent, so that you're on the mattress but the whole tent is off the ground. Helped keep his tent floor dry and his sleeping bag out of puddles.

great video thanks for supporting graspop !!! wouldn't call it heaviest its more mainstream you probably allways get good headliner's here but don't expect a festival like brutal assault or Obscene Extreme where there is only death metal.The big downside of graspop is the noisy camping good luck finding sleep there. lot of people just staying up at 4 PM Did you watch brothers of metal? glad you enjoy it i worked at graspop this year it was amazing to see the other side of graspop behind the stages. seeing people from the whole world enjoy metal in my home countrry amazing !!!

Lost my dad 21 years ago as a 13 year old, just as I was getting into music. Would've loved to have gone to gigs with the old man. Great tribute and a great message. Talk to your parents, even if they are c**ts as once they're gone...

Hi Rob you probably figured it out by now but idea of 2 mainstages is so while one band plays, the other sets up. Wacken is very well known for this system and i believe they first for metal festivals to do it but they give 45 min sets to the bands for headliner a standard 1hour 45

Love the EU festivals videos. Choccy my favourite doubly. Would love to win the eufy S340 as we’ve moved into a new house a week ago. A security camera would be very, very handy as new home owners and make my missus feel more safe and at ease while I’m on a night shift or away from home at night.
