This was my first year at Reading or Leeds fest and it was mental. The security at Reading's silent disco were even worse, they closed the queue of it at 3am on saturday night due to a "medical emergency", where we were told by security that someone had been stabbed. They told us everyone was being told to leave the silent disco and that it wouldn't be reopened that night. I called my friend and he was still inside partying for the next hour, no evacuation process happening. I waited around for 20 mins until barely anyone was still outside and they reopened the queue, letting a few hundred of us inside. I had not seen any police or ambulance services. Also Rob the security into arena was the same for everyone, when it was even slightly busy no one checked bags or patted down. Wish you guys could do a set at Reading but I understand the difficulty in doing so. Reading was so sick, can't wait for next year!

Gone from going to every imaginable festival in the UK, various gigs to getting severe mental health through personal reasons. I'm going to Leeds on Friday for the day ( heading back into festivals/gigs & and my first in 2 years.) Watching this on my friends TV and it's given me the confidence I needed causr I lost it all... my nerves are still high. I lost my best friend aged 22 on 2nd of November last year... yeah.
