I first got this on PS5. After a couple hours, I had enough. Quality mode was barely holding 30 FPS. Performance mode was choppy as hell, and was clearly like 720p. So I waited an entire year to play it properly on PC. This is the first time I've bought a game twice lol. But I was correct. With my i5-12600K and RTX 4080, plus these mods you're showing here, this is such a great experience. The game is a masterpiece, with some of the biggest jaw dropping moments I have ever seen in a game. PC remains king

Game is amazing . Story and setting are really , really good and so as gameplay. Mod fixes fps issue and it is being updated all the time. Easy to install and easy to download.

What I find wild is how the devs didn’t even try to implement UW settings by default despite the fact that this is an unreal engine game which easily allows for these settings…

guyz i have GTX 1080 i didnt this fix based video but this is what i did set reslution on 1920 1080 limit ur frame 60 turn on vyance turn off dynamic reslution set on performance & FSR 3 turn everything on high & on ( u can put shadow on mid ifu want ) & turn on frame generaiton i get 60fps if ur vga is better? u can set on quality or balanced instead of performance maybe even on native

@@radityadito922 i didnt test it my friend i enjoyed final fantasy 15 final fantasy 7 remake was good too but i didnt enjoy final fantasy 16 cuz its tooooooooooooooooooo much cutscene & gameplay wasnt too interest for me so i deleted game D: but u can read patch details. maybe u see performance changed or not anyway with FSR 3 & set resulition scale like 75% something u can get more frame & things like ambeint ocluson or shadow or reflect always make frame low. so set them on low or off

Don use frame gen with cutscenes. It breaks the tooltips and photo mode

If I only care about removing the 30fps cap, all I have to do is just copy-paste the files into the right location and done? Then just play the game? No edits needed to the ffxvifix file?

All I had to do was open the file, scroll down to performance and change "Remove 30FPS Cap" to true and set the framerate to 60, save and launch game.

It won't let me play, rockstar reads need an internet connection. It reads to enable internet. So I enabled the Internet, changed the date and time, but it's not reading the Internet due to the date and time change. Is there a way to get around this or am I just screwed? Appreciate any help

I would try the FOV around 20 to 30 for 32:9 and see how that feels but I didn't see any presets for the HUD passed 21:9 I've been messing around with 10 to 20 on the FOV for my screen and 15 seems nice so Im sure a 32:9 would benefit from something a tad bit higher.

On ps5, lostwing frames fluctuate like crazy to the point it hurts my eyes. I hate that place. Yet on pc its perfect. And people used to say there was nothing wrong with ff16 fps on console. Copium or what...

Its crazy how the dev cant even make their game playable, so modders have to make mods for it.

Even with the mod every pc need specific settings to be able to run at 60fps stable my 3080 can't run this at 60fps stable. It's around 40fps - 70 fps. And ofc I haven't everything on high

Yeah this game needs a patch - I feel like it's more of a CPU bottleneck issue than GPU issue - I tested this out on stream where I put everything on the lowest settings and still got the same results. That tells me the CPU is being held back.

@@Sonsfully this game was designed for 30fps. i doubt there will be huge improvements. i am ryzen 3700x and and 10gb rtx 3080 and I get the same framerate, but everything on ultra with balanced dlss. i would just limit the fps to 45 with vrr and play it like that. otherwise you might only get 60fps with a new stronger pc in 2 years

I bough the game yesterday and i cant make at least 30 fps. No matter what i do, i keeping 18-20 fps in the entire game. It is so weird that i put to run on a 1280 resolution and the fps was still the same. 18-20 range. I cant believe a rtx 3080 12 gb version cant run this game at least 30 fps stable.

yeah, something is wrong on your end. I can play this game with ultra setting at 45-60fps at 4k with balanced dlss. whats your cpu? mine is ryzen 3700x and 10gb version 3080. gonna upgrade my cpu soon

@dantevergil6437 omg me too, and i use rtx4070, it can not get 60fps in the menu and game play too, the first cutsence only 18-20 fps, look lag like sh**, and at the first town even with frame gen on, i only get below 60fps, changed resolution to 720p too, wtf. AND God of war Ragnarok run super smooth above 100fps ultra setting 1440p dlss quality without frame gen. Something is wrong with Final fantasy 16!!!

@@thanhlawd132 that sounds really weird. Did you guys update your drivers? Maybe delete the game config files or let steam repair the game? Thats really not normal. I have two friends with weaker pc where its running also without issues like you described. Try also fullscreen and borderless modes, vsync

It should - I don't recall hearing any issues with the Epic Version when reading through things prior to recording.

working welll at the early stage, its trully show how unoptimized this game are, its nonesense when at the first hideout (cid place) i only got 25-30 FPS with al LOT of stuttering everywhere, but when i update graphics driver and patch the game on steam, it really night and day different, it boosted up to 50-60FPS and........ wait until you get to martha spot and shit gone wrong again. You wont ever get smooth experience especially with mid spec rn, dont even hope this shit will fix immediately, i prefer to wait 1-2 month to see how it is. i really had worse performance issues since FF7 Remake, it takes too long for squarenix to fix that, they deadass just suck and lazy dev
