@@Matthew-52572 It's one thing when playing DCS or watching it. When you're in the airplane, the extremely rapid onset of G's can GLOC any man including the most experienced G monsters. So often people don't realize the physicality of being a fighter pilot unless they've actually pulled high G's in an actual airplane...

What amazes me is: 1. Your knowledge and understanding of the aircraft aerodynamics and operation. Your principal theory actually worked in practice. So basic pilot training is not negated by aircraft and technology advancements as one would think. 2. The fact that like you said, there is probably no 'perfect' aircraft for all types of scenarios, even for figthter class jets. There will always be compromises and it is up to the pilot to try and engage in the best type of combat to get the edge over the oponent. Well done - I really enjoyed this one! Cheers!

Visually, that Felon is a beautiful plane. I like it's profile more than that of the Raptor. Color scheme also suits it very well. But having worked with the Falcon (assistant crewchief, and maintenance) the F-16 will always have a special place in my heart.

Amazing flying and anticipation. You lost visuals briefly while lining up the shot and had to pull the trigger based on where you think he’ll be. It was like a perfect no look pass in football. Beautifully done

Interesting fight, the second one. You ended up down on the deck, then took advantage of his predisposition to angle fighting. Bear with me, I'm WWII boomer dude. You got the break when he lost energy as you were zooming, then after a series of boom 'n zooms, you got him. Very cool.

What I love about your channel is your commentary. I’m new to combat simulation and have yet to buy the necessary equipment, but I am loving your videos. You are the best at this because you explains what’s happening. I was watching other channels and they leave too much dead air, where nothing is happening and the dogfights are often done without commentary, which is super dull. My favourite dogfights are with WW1 and 2 planes. I could watch those all day. Anyway, I wanted to thank you for entertaining an old boy like me. Keep up the good work.

I love the level of knowledge that you have in DCS but with also understanding the strength and weaknesses of airframes that is both informative but also engaging. Also the way you apply tactics that you use to exploit the weaknesses to get the win and the patience to not over commit like avoiding the gun run darting yourself. M61 is truly a scary armament, but the Gau 8 is Frightening. Just the sound of it makes the hairs stand up on your neck. Having heard the Gau 8 on a cloudy day, with no visual on the A-10, most of my platoon froze and asked eachother, "WTH was THAT" ???.

I feel like the SU-57 is made much stronger in DCS than it's real life counterpart. A lot of news has slipped through about it not being as agile as it was supposed to be and also its stealth capabilities are leaving a lot to the imagination. That's just what I've heard and I'm not sure if it's actually true or not, because you never know for sure until all information is declassified.

Well, at least the first round showed us that GS is capable of ejecting BEFORE it is too late from time to time. Seriously, sometimes he waits until it is guaranteed that he will stain the grass with his blood. I love how SG didn't just give up and say oh it can't be done. It was like a puzzle to be solved, and he systematically tried a number of different methods until he found one that worked. The gun fight isnt dead because political situations can still make bvr hands tied. Though the off bore shot def makes it difficult, it also isnt impossible. It only takes one mistake or miss

@@btw_ole7932 You are stealth as long as the radar is turned off. So both will be flying with their radars turned off. the radar power is irrelevant. Most stealth planes have passive radars to pick enemy radar signatures, but if the enemy is also stealth they will have their radar turned off, so your passive radar option becomes useless.

Now do missiles and BVR. The issue is that the Felon will have a first probably second, and maybe even third missile shot at the F16 while the F16 will have none of those, and worse for the Ukrainians is that they're rocking AMRAAMs and the Russians potentially have long range hypersonics.
