Playing with the new Martis makes it so easy to dominate the early to mid game, sometimes late game depending on the picks. My Martis games this update all had like 10+ kills. Two of them I managed to get maniacs. I even only used the inspire spell. Kinda feels like the time when he was first released, where people always wanted to pick Martis and you get a Maniac/Savage every other match.

Martis is early to mid. He no shield, no immune, and not able to dodge like other fighter for skill 1&2, basically trash like late game. Other fighter have a blink or shield. For him, is pure damage for 1&2. Fight to death fighter

Why I think he's so good in the jungle rn instead of exp, is bcs he can easily snowball enemies once he reaches level 4(like Karina). And when u get a kill with his ult, its smooth sailing for martis to clean up the rest xd, and bcs junglers are usually ahead of their teammates in levels, means martis will get higher phy atk bonus from his passive alot faster in the jungle. While as oppose to being in exp lane, u barely get to use his ult much cuz ur mostly gonna be in ur lane pushing than joining teamfights meanwhile in jungle, urcalways finding kills and ganks, to easily take objectives. Even tho his dmg got insanely buffed in late game, he's still relatively balanced once all enemies also have reached max level. Because its harder to find an opening and reach the backlines without the help of ur teammates. So in the end, martis is still better off as an early game aggressor, and should take advantage of his strong snowball capability to end the game asap.

One thing I've learned as a jungler is that at the end of the day, a lot of the times it won't even matter if only you get massive amounts of kills, you will still lose if your team doesn't do anything, so even when i play assassin I'm fine if they steal a couple of my kills, as long as they use the gold properly I'm okay with it xD

For me, it's good to buff Martis' damage because in the later stage of the game, Martis needs sustain, and tank items sacrifices Martis' damage in the late game so the damage of his ultimate is mediocre when building Martis tank items in the late game, where everybody is painful.

Yeah! I also used tank build for buffed Martis but with Bloodlust Axe and Queen's Wings, making him more than just a fighter/tank.

he starts off way too strong and scales way too hard with just 1 item, it's not balanced. In the early game you can literally 1v2 pretty much any combination of heroes with ease. He has a long ass cc immunity as well as interrupt/displace on his skills with no cooldown at all practically (and no mana or resources to worry about). So not only you deal ungodly amounts of dps with no items you are also keeping the enemy stun locked for the duration of the combo so they can't outplay you or run away.

@@justsam100 That's pretty much the definition of common fighters that are skill types. Skill type fighters don't rely too much on items because they are *Skill Types*, but that doesn't mean, they are ungodly. Fighters that are ATK Types like Zilong, Aldous, Argus, we can't just expect them to be stronger than Skill Type fighters like Paquito, Thamuz, Yu Zhong. ATK fighters are strong in the late game and Skill fighters are strong in the early game, it is just balanced. Martis on the other hand, is both. He is a "Jack of All Trades, but Master of None", that is why he has no place on early or late game. Not weak, just mediocre. Don't fight Martis in close range. Also don't use Balmond and Silvana against him, it's not advisable.

@@luigimatthew6614 hmmm, not really he melts Zilong type heroes even in the late because you can perma interrupt cc them. He is the master of skill fighters atm, no one is stronger than him in lane or in the jungle in the first few minutes. He can melt Paquito at level 4, which no other hero can do solo (paquito is somewhat unfair in the early game as well). After you get a couple of items his autos can melt tanks because of the insane attack speed. They just need to reduce his base damage in the early game and reduce the scaling a bit in the mid, then he'll be balanced.

Martis just got buffed to solve the problem, and then you already want them to revert the buff? If you want Moonton to reduce Martis' base damage and scale damage in the early to mid-game, then they will further enhance his late game. And that's more problematic.

Martis is very good and can definitely dominate in early to mid game. But still falls short and not very useful in finishing the game so the mm and mage needs to be strong at this point. rushing to break all the towers will just result on feeding the enemy side and will almost always result to a come back.

Martis sure is op especially in the early stages, but it will vary if the enemy has a good late game hero who can nitpick his life (mm's) or cc burst it. His skill needs a bit of adjustments that needa to extend the cd duration
