From living with a Filipina in Philippines for a year I can answer that: Every family has a Karaoke speaker and at least 2 microphones. Every chance they want they start singing. If you live there be ready to hear your neighbors singing. then, the fact that EVERYONE sings there, I mean EVERYONE results in so many people with talent getting a start. In other countries, like here USA, people go unnoticed; in Philippines the talents get lots of compliments and those continue singing and some of the ones that continue singing improve. But because the number of those just singing for fun is so large, we end up with a large number of Filipinos that are excellent singers.
