This is one of my favourite films ever! I watched it as a child (I was maybe twelve, and I decided I wanted to watch all the Oscar nomenees for the animation category that year) and it really struck me. Along with Princess Kaguya, Song of the Sea has a very special place in my heart and I'm glad it's being appreciated. Cartoon Saloon is an amazing studio and I wish it was more well-known.

This was a favourite when I was a kid, even though I had no idea what was happening. You did an amazing job recapturing all the emotions I’ve felt watching this as my younger self, as well as letting me learn more about the culture and symbolisms used in this movie!! Song of the Sea definitely should've won the Oscar instead of Big Hero 6 (no offense to that film, I like it fine enough, except the cartoon it spun off of from 2017), but I do wish The Lego Movie got nominated at least, even if I don't like Lord and Miller as people.
