Great job! Keep it up! Lost my Grandfather in the 90's. He took us fishing every chance he got growing up. In his last days he called me and asked if I would bring him 2 things. A bag of smoked smelt and a 6 pack of Little kings cream ale beer. We sat on his porch and ate the smelt and enjoyed the beer. He passed a few weeks later. That was one of the best days of my life.

My grandfather passed away at 70 when I was only 14 years old, now that I’m 30, there’s so much I wish I got to ask him and do with him, he loved to fish and watch baseball and I would cut off a hand to have one day like your buddy got to have with his grand dad. You’re a great man Rob.

The man does God's work everyday, in the way we all should, or try too. Find peace with one's self lead by example without forcing scripture down someone's throat, then you say grace and explain in layman's terms that it is saying thank you for today as well as thank you for everything I have and not want. This is, in my opinion, how he intended it to be taught.

Hey its the people from the Africa trip! Nice! Crocker back too? and that boat! What a video! Makes my heart happy to see that Grandfather catch that fish. My grandfather is the one who taught me to fish. His favorite passtime. We would go to Ft Walton Beach or Destin and surf fish. There is a strip of undeveloped land that crosses between the two towns and the fishing is great. He would climb the highest sand dune and use binoculars to scan for sandbars then fish the sandbars. We would pull in fish by the dozen and eat whatever we caught. Freakn 80 year old 6ft crane would come by every time (he just knew to come) and my grandfather said he had been coming since he was a child. They call him George. George always got the first fish and the last fish from every fisherman who came. I haven't been in years since he died but if George showed up I would probably break down into tears.

Awesome grandpa and thank you for taking him out! My grandfather was a commercial fisherman on the gulf his entire life until his late 70s. He missed the water so bad , but wasn’t able to get out by himself anymore. Id pick him up and take him fishing or giging flounder wherever I wasn’t working and he would tell me so many stories, some I’m not sure a grandpa are supposed to tell.😀 My Grandma mother passed away from cancer and he was so heart broke. I would still take him fishing but It got to the point I couldn’t get him in and out of the boat, He was a big guy! So we would just go to the pier or a dock and Id set him down on a folding chair with a pole and a beer and we would hang out and bring my son who was 2-3 years old. It was pretty cool that he got to hang out with his Great grandfather. My grandfather started getting dementia his last few years, but he always could remember and talked about those days and so does my son. He made it almost 90.
