Right now most permits are offshore not a great time to fish for them, you can still catch one keep trying bud there is nothing else you can really do !

@@RickysFishingAdventures yeah i figure the same setup I have for Gag Grouper. 8ft mh conventional with my okuma Cortez CZ55w w/50lb mono. 80lb bite leader to 7/0 hook? I also have a fathom 40n 2 speed with 80lb hollow and a 25yd leader of 60 or 80 mono too to winch them away/out of structure.

I was using a custom rod from adrenaline on the spinning 30,40 medium heavy and 2 from coastal fishing don't remember the specs I tell you when I get home 💪👍
