Seems they focused too hard on multiplayer and just left out single player completely. Nothing new, no new events, cops need buffing. At this point, it just feels like they abandoned single-player completely for end Game content and just focused on multiplayer.

@jaywinters6010 Well, Speedpass needed to be in single player. It wouldn't make sense to make it only multiplayer since not everyone will always be playing multiplayer. They were going to do the same in heat when the speed pass was data-mined. The rest of the content, though, should be in singleplayer, too. There is no reason to completely leave singleplayer without any new content or improvements.

Criterion and EA focusing on multiplayer content updates is kind of like Rockstar putting their resources into GTA Online and not single player story mode. Likely more profitable focusing on multiplayer as it is linked to EA Play and for Xbox, Game Pass subscriptions.

Because it would break the balance if they were to just add it without changing anything else. They said they want to preserve the SP experience no matter when you play it whether you played it when it released or now so they won't touch it. I would love for some things from MP to come to SP but I can 100% understand why they don't touch it. They want to preserve it the way it was intended, that's not a bad thing.

Huh? I thought they clearly stated that you just needed to put on drift pro tires to use the new drift handling. Unless I'm crazy because I can drift just fine with over 5 different cars. Using any other tire type reverts back to the stiff handling when drifting. Now, onto the main point, why haven't they added most of the events of multiplayer to single-player? It would make the game less boring while playing single-player. Not to mention, the cops need a buff for single player on hard difficulty. Everything I boot up is very easy to win events, and cops are just easy as hecks.

Incase you had missed Theo, when they updated the game to the underground update every work wheel got updated details and textures, so the meister L1's are possibly being held back for the next update along with other work wheels given the rest of them got texture updates

The scoring system being broken in the Single Player events is almost exactly why Drift Pro tires aren't in SP. They could definitely do work to update the scoring system to the new system for the old events but my guess is with the small team, they are choosing to spend their limited resources elsewhere.

can U adjust the cop lvl in Unite? i only played unbound storyline but everytime i removed the save and started a new one the cops didn't reset and got harder and harder to the lvl where i couldn't get to the 3rd opponent to drive him home and unlock his savehouse nomore if yes, then i reinstall it with Unite (i never played online because of the idiotic boostnitro extra grip in corners, wich isn't an issue in storymode)

Changes I would like to see in Unbound are the following: . Remove the challenges to unlock cars . Whatever progression you have done in Single player (cars money) should all be in Online and vice versa just like Heat . More Gauntlet events . Higher payouts on some events . Fix the "Solo" playlist. Seperate between Solo and Multiplayer so you don't have to beg for someone not to join . Allow AI players in playlists (should be an option) . More F2P Content . More cars What do you guys think?

I agree with these. Also: There’s a huge hole in the off-road racing category, so that could use an update Fix cop spawning on heat level 5. Can’t drive 5 feet without having cops approaching from all sides, and I’ve had cops literally appear in front of me with no way to avoid them. It becomes ridiculous after a while

@@coreymckee4844 I agree, I felt the exact same way on week 1. It felt really unfair and the buy-in vs payout feels really unbalanced. But, as the game goes on, the races start to pay more and it kinda starts to open up. Even after finishing the game, I feel like the game does not give you enough money to play around with at all, so you often feel like you are stuck with the cars you have. Feeling so restricted is the opposite of how NFS should feel. This caused me to feel some undue stress making certain decisions. I could go on all day because I actually love this game, and many times the difficulty forced me to be strategic which was a great feeling. But definitely just give it some time. That difficulty starting out should ease off. I have a bittersweet relationship with this game, but it’s one of my favorites.

@@austinflowers3789 Interesting, I had the exact opposite experience so much choice I just stuck with what I had. I did every single event every day and night so from day 4 in week 1 I was basically Heat 5 at all times day and night which isn't as bad as some make it out to be (there are 3 spots that guarantee you lose the cops every time, also work in online, all outside the city because loosing the cops in the city is a piece of cake even with a B Class drift car that has a topspeed of 140 mph lol) also there is always the option to just back out into the main menu in SP when in a cop chase which automatically makes you lose the cops and you lose nothing as a result. I also decided to collect all collectibles and complete all activities which gave me not only a fck ton of money but also a huge amount of cars I now didn't have to buy. Guess that is why I had choice and no issue with money, most people haven't done that.

@@Z38_US Very interesting. I'll have to play it again and do things differently. I will say I tried to avoid those instant-end-pursuit spots, but I also didn't take advantage of the perk that lets you make more money off of pursuits. I can see how you could farm money really well by combining those. Hindsight is 20/20 for a lot of stuff in this game. Its interesting how so many people have vastly different experiences with this one. I appreciate your explanation!

The reason they put nothing into Singleplayer is because they want the SIngleplayer experience to stay the same whether you played when it released or now. Some of these changes would entirely break the balance of SP, some already do for example if you get Vol. 8's Lotus Evija the S+ races suddenly are just not challenging in the slightest no matter the difficulty so that already breaks the game slightly. This is why they don't do that, I personally would love to see MP content in SP but I can 100% understand their reasoning for not doing it.

Absolutely they need to add single player content. I like to have multiplayer as an option but single player is my preference and being able to have more to do and more to enjoy in. Single player would be peak. Im about to be a first time dad & I can’t jump onto multiplayer in my free time and leave a live race & lose my money bc I get to change a diaper, feed, and soothe my son. I really enjoy this game, just hope single player won’t get left behind

I just don’t even know what the point of single player is anymore You get SO much money in MP so you can actually enjoy new cars and builds and have more than one for each class… In single player? Yeah good luck grinding for hours for a handful of mods. I’ll never touch single player again unless they completely rework it and make it so that I’m not making $500 a race and make it more like $40K per race

Later S and S+ races literally give you 40-60k per race and you usually have a couple of them available at all times. In Week 3/4 and after the story is done it is not uncommon to make several hundred K in one session.

Criterion should add ai to freeroam playlists for solo and allow co op in the playlist if other players or friends join and have pvp be the mode with no ai

ai cant use the drift pro tires they cant drive the cars at all with drift pro tires i do the drift playlist almost every night and at the end of the race the ai takes over ur car and its funny to see it try drive a s+ car with drift pro tires 😂

I don't even remember characters. The story was a complete blur. I can't remember too many highlights of the story. The cheap day/night cycle. I regreat the Palace Edition. And low key getting the game full price. With so many issues I ain't got time to worry about a trans. But I feel for you though. ✌🏾❤️💯

I think the only reason for the delisting is that FH6 is closer than we think. It hasn't been announced because they are concerned that big games like GTA 6 might be released around the same time, which could impact FH6's sales.
