Spreading the Aloha and surfing one person at a time... I tell everybody who is going to Hawaii/Oahu to do the JOB Surf experience either at Turtle Bay or in town. Also, when the water warms up locally to go to the Del in Coronado if they want to learn at a local spot.

We're going to be on island for some other business, but me and my adult son (experienced surfers) are going to book some time with (7/ S7even, Seven), as he looks to be a really fun time. Really good to hear people be honest about not wanting to surf, but then really enjoying, especially since they can learn at an easy pace, at Turtle Bay. Good on you and your team.

Can you guys do a video showing the north shore when the river is open? What happens to the entire shoreline. Where does all that brown water go? And what are people told when the water is brown? When I was growing up I was a lifeguard at Waimea Falls. (70's) Back when people were allowed to climb the falls and jump off. Back then not many people lived in the valley so that river was rarely opened. I always wondered how people would build homes in a flood plain, and then complain when there's a flood. What? Even back then We did the same thing you guys are doing in this video. We even used to surf that river back into the ocean and slam into the waves coming in. (Like a backwash) This was back when Eddy was still alive. One day the river was opened and someone told us to go up to Pupukea He`au and look at the entire shoreline west of Waimea. That's all it took, We saw how opening that river affects the whole shoreline. It's killing the reef and all the shoreline habitats. People who watch your videos see you guys playing it up. But they don't see the cost! There is a responsibility that comes with opening that river. Tell that story too! Other than that, Charge um!
