I just started playing Shattered Pixel Dungeon and I'm addicted. I've died a countless number of times now, but each time, I make it a little further and it feels so gratifying! Your earlier tutorial videos have helped a lot, keep up the great work! ALSO, my current playthrough is a level 18 warden and I just got the Sandals of Nature. I'm on floor 14 (highest floor I've reached so far) and ive got a blessed Ankh and a wand of regrowth i think its called? I'm feeling pretty good about this boss battle, wish me luck 😅

I just started playing before trinkets were a thing, maybe. And I've been seeing numerous updates to the game that really make it fun and challenging. I can't wait to see more improvements get made.

Yesterday a cursed wand force closed my game lol

I used a cursed wand and volla got a screen saying I have 3 options retry stop or cancel use. I did retry and my game was force closed

@@harukisakura502 I can't really tell, but I could see that being implemented in the game. Since tons of new curses were recently added to the game, that curse is surely something funny! 😂

That's an actual intended feature, but the dev had mentioned that he gets bug reports about it all the time. I find it hilarious

It happened to me a few times to have the room with the stairs down as a hidden room, I thought it was part of the new (now previous) update, didn't seem so rare to me.

I think this is just a quirk of the floor generation algorithm. Here the figure-8 layout was chosen (instead of the usual loop layout). Standard rooms normally must have one path to the stairs that doesn't require secret doors. However, two rooms that are adjacent will be merged. It looks like what happened is that the secret room from this (many secrets) floor got placed next to the downstairs room and merged with it. This may have caused the only non-secret door leading to the downstairs to be changed into a secret door because of the secret room

It's been possible to happen for a while now, I have had it happen once even before trinkets were a thing
