I also think Gabriel tried to prevent Sean from dying, he might have seen William passing behind him or felt his presence, which is pretty sad What I really love about this tape is the fact that the children's spirits actually feel like poltergeists, it doesn't only focuses on the animatronics and we can see that the whole building's affected by paranormal activities

My favorite part of these tapes is how they humanize the kids. I feel as if FNaF treats the kids like objects with souls, these tapes treat them as they should be, scared kids.

Well FNAF has essentially done that by separating Remnant and Agony into separate things. Remnant is the soul that has a consciousness while Agony is the feeling left by the soul that is mindless and aggressive- narratively, it lets the animatronics be aggressive without needing a reason like "You look like the guy who killed me" or things like that.

With your theory on Freddy helping Sean get out, that would explain why he said "him" instead of a straight answer like "Bunny". Maybe William was walking past in the background or standing behind Sean for Freddy to see before leaving the building to wait.

My question is: Why did William enter the building if he was going to wait outside for Sean anyway? My theory is that either, William changed it's mind half way throu, because he concidered it a bad idea to commit another murder in front of what's basicaly a dangerous machine with a grudge on him, or his plan wasn't to actualy kill Sean. Maybe he wasn't aware that Sean was there. Maybe he wanted to do something different? Maybe dissmantle the animatronics for remnant? (This is just a theory, so feel free to debate. :D)

Poor Sean, its obvious he wanted to help these spirits, and set them free after their suffering. Especially after he found out that they were murdered. The spirits also werent aggresive towards him, it seems that Gabriels spirit, or Freddy maybe spotted William in the background and tried to protect him. But i assume Gabriel doesnt know how to control the animatronic, or is still confused on how to control his own body as a ghost.

Gabriel heard the doos and proceded to scaring Sean and chasing him enough to make him leave so that William couldn't get him... Gabriel was trying to save Sean but we all saw the results of said attempt

@@formacat Maybe, and most likely either Michael knew that he kept it a secret and when afton went missing, he gave it to the police, either Afton didn't even try to hide it (the trophy thing), or he might've dumped it somewhere he thought no one would search anything, and someone DID go look for it. Many ways It could've gotten to the police. Damn, It could've even been him who gave the tape to the police just to taunt them, on how they would never catch him, because no one lived to tell the story.

I'm so glad that most FNAF VHS videos like this, has gotten more attention than before. Sure it takes a long time to make those videos like this, but Spectre's FNAF VHS videos have literally blew my mind when I first watch them, especially with the production values, motion tracking, animations, visuals, etc. (Not gonna lie, that last part literally got most of us scared at the most part, especially the fact that it was released at around Halloween)

possible context: when Gabriel told the investigator to get out, it was warning him that the killer was still in the building. this wasnt a "im mad and im gonna kill you if you dont leave" warning.. this was a "get out hes still here" warning. so the spirits arent here to kill, their here to make other people that want to know run away from the incident so they dont meet the same demise the spirits did.

what's confusing is that the tape was confiscated for 25 years by the FBI, which makes me think they had that video and either didn't do anything about it or couldn't figure out what it meant - because how could they confiscate it if William had held onto it? and why didn't he destroy it when he had the chance? he instead risked it getting released to the public and being caught (if someone did decide to research the childrens spirits)

Gabe could have simply said, “HURRY and HE’S HERE.” And I think Sean could put it together quickly. But that still would have gotten him Killed. It would have been better to make Sean hide. Then order the others to protect him while he does. This puts Afton’s ambush in a stalemate. Forcing him to leave in daytime when people start coming. Ironically, like the classic fnaf game but switcherood. Sean would have survived if Gabe knew better. But that’s too much to ask for a scared kid to figure out. Why did Afton waited for the kill outside instead of just quickly finishing the job while Sean was in there? Because Afton knew he was powerless against vengeful 8ft metal robots protecting Sean even armed with the gun. Even if he did, Him killing a potential understanding adult ally in front of them would make them berserk. And he’s now in a Lion’s Den. This would have only been pulled off successfully if The Puppet was there with them or whatever. Being the leading scheming, wiser spirit.

I think the angry spirits might be at odds with the talkative ones in this location. Some want to be honest with the main character, but there are some that want to hurt him. I can't blame them for being mad if they were harmed and stuffed, but they have to move on some time! I still love that you can spell 'bear' from some of the letters in Gabriel, it's perfect.

I really like your theory that Gabriel was trying to warn Sean about William coming. It makes a lot of sense. It's unlikely that Gabriel would have attacked Sean, even if he mention something sensitive. These children may be vengeful, but they definitely aren't evil. It wouldn't make sense for them to attack someone who they can reasonably assume is NOT their killer. Sean isn't wearing purple (presumably), and by this point in the video he had already stated that he meant no harm multiple times. Something that WOULD make sense for these kids to do, however, is try to warn the person who had been nice to them so far about the approaching child maimer. Instead of "Get out or I kill you", he probably meant "Get our or HE kills you" or "Get out before he comes". But of course Gabriel couldn't have said all of that because apparently the ovilus isn't practical for sending warnings about your inpending doom. On another note, I do agree that the poltergeist who didn't like the lights or sounds was Foxy's spirit, aka Fritz. Of course the dislike for lights and sounds makes sense for Foxy (especially his request to turn the flashlight off), but we can also infer this based of the differences between Sean's interactions with this spirit and the other two. Both Gabriel and Susie seemed to have no problem talking and were both pretty cooperative, while this specific poltergeist did not appear like it wanted to answer Sean's questions. Also, we can pretty easily assume that Freddy (and Gabriel) were in that room the whole time. The only question would then be who was messing with the bathroom doors if it wasn't Freddy. I don't know, perhaps Bonnie had to take a leak /j. Anyways, i really liked this video. I really wish more videos focused on the missing children, instead of the animatronic. They only ever make background appearances for the sake of creep value, which in my opinion is lost potential. (sorry for the long comment)

I have been waiting for a video like this, the spirits aren't bloodthirsty spirits and are trying to get help from others and also going full lengths to protect those helping them. They even told him who their killer was without killing the dude afterwards which I find annoying when they do that. Too bad William killed Shawn I wish we got more with him.

Things like this always remind me that I would prefer a story we’re people died in the establishment and ended up haunting it with vengefulness and that the killer would never have been revealed. It’s just a lot more eerie with the characters and answers. I don’t like that we knew William, his family, and his intentions, it just makes it a lot less creepy in my opinion.

Man, what makes me most nervous is how in every vhs tape these types of characters or investigators, even though they ask several questions, seem to leave out the most obvious and certain question of all. Most spirits manifest themselves in places where they have died, in such a way that the soul cannot get out of there because it is attached to something, be it an object, space or even as some kind of body, like animatronics for example. Although the soul also stays in an area thanks to the feeling of suffering, the intense anguish, anger and hatred that are very present there. So, if he had already obtained the information that they are all trapped, all he had to do was ask the following question: *How can I FREE them? How can I SAVE them?* *And it is very clear that the only thing that can free these souls is the very death of their murderer, as long as he does not fall and go straight to eternal suffering, they will never be able to rest... they will never have the long-awaited peace...* And there goes another one who died quickly with a shot in the back.

In Gabriel trying to warn Sean about the danger, going over that scene really makes me appreciate the sound choices even more! The first 'Get Out' is in that calmer tone, maybe horror at the thought that another is going to be killed by Afton. The second 'Get Out' is firmer, followed immediately by the third 'Get Out', which is so soft and quiet. Scared or worried. And then, there's no time. There's no time to try and attempt explaining to Sean that their killer is here. I'm guessing because spirits can be limited in words because...well, it's hard to talk when you're dead. The fourth 'Get Out' is deep and angry. A display to scare. And when Sean STILL doesn't move, it probably takes Gabriel everything he has to chase Sean away with that truly terrifying scream.

It wasn’t until this video that I found out that the animatronic spirits had determined names. Makes sense why the names Gabriel and Susie were mentioned. Like Dawko said Susie possesses Chica and Gabriel possesses Freedy. To this day I’m still learning about Fnaf lore and I consider myself pretty fluent

For anyone curious about why Sean was in the building for so long with William nearby, I think William let Sean in to see if the children knew enough about William to kill him if they ever saw him out of the suit. Once he heard that Susie remembers a rabbit and Gabriel remembers purple, William decides he's heard all he needs to and kills Sean the first chance he gets.

Whenever I see this I always like to believe the spirits are trying as hard as they can to give him a straight answer to the best of their knowledge, Suisie said “Bunny” because she remembers that, but Gabriel says “Him” because he knows their in the building. We only heard from what seems to be 3 spirits, Suisie, Gabriel, and the one that kept telling him to turn stuff off. That last one could have been Foxy, but it also could have been Bonnie. Maybe all the equipment was causing the ghost equivalent of sensory overload, there’s so much to think about

You can hear as soon as Sean falls you can hear a 12 gauge shotgun reload meaning William Afton shot Sean almost Point blank with a shotgun

It's good to see more content that shows the fact that the spirits were only kids, I remember seeing a fairly short animation that humanized Withered Chica, where someone was holding and playing with a Bonnie and a Springtrap figurine, and Chica pokes her head through some dividers (I think they were dividers) in a curious and childlike way, the animation then pans to Withered Chica trying to play with the figurines yet since she has no hands, she tries in vain to also play with them. That is some of the things we need in the fnaf movie, not just showing that the Animatronics can be dangerous, but that they're also still children at the center of it all which shouldn't be forgotten

I think maybe Freddy got aggressive because he was trying to warn Shawn. If William killed him shortly after Freddy repeatedly told him to “GET OUT” then he may have been trying to tell him to leave because it was too dangerous for him to stay there. He may have known William was there.

I think Gabriel was trying to protect Sean, actually, but at this point doesn't have full control over his animatronic suit. It's heartbreaking since Sean was actually nice to the kids and was trying to get to the bottom of what happened.

If anyone was wondering what happened (even though you probably already knew) Gabriel felt Williams presence and warned him, but when Sean didn't leave, Gabriel decided to scare Sean out of the building so he could leave and get the evidence to the authorities.
