@@kyrozephyr8628 i was using 42 width tanks, i won by attrition since the axis players ran out of energy to keep going since i held river line and supported any important battle with tanks. I never managed to push back anything they took but since i stacked entrenchment buffs with defensive infantry (32 width with line AA & support AT), they were stuck at the river line for about a year and a half until they eventually folded. TLDR: i didn't "win" but i demoralized the axis players into giving up

I just played HOI4 for the first time in 3 years as Italy and it was some of the most fun I've had in the game, I don't have the DLC (or any DLC) so I puppeted Yugoslavia, Albania and Bulgaria then went down the ratify the Stresa Front path, meaning I joined the allies and carried them in the war against the Germans (I ended up occupying the south while the allies created a German Republic in the North) then I invaded Japan from French Vietnam with barely any resistance while their army was still on the Chinese front. Meanwhile the Soviets were just fighting a civil war against Trotsky for like 6 years straight. I think I'll play as them next
